  1. Step 5 always happens when going to US from Canadian airports with US CBP pre-screening i.e. YUL. I have to go through same rigamarole if I fly from YOW to US through YYZ ..Not a Canadian requirement.
  2. I assess that itinerary as very low risk; would not hesitate to stick with my original plans.
  3. I've stayed at the Novotel Brussels off Grand Place and believe that will meet all your needs at a decent price.
  4. I certainly understand. And yet, depending on the time of day/night you're planning on getting a bite to eat, a Big Mac may very well end up on the menu.
  5. Vaccines for a Panama Canal transit? I'm unaware of anything special/necessary for that.
  6. Yes. We recently stayed at the Premier Inn Gatwick North Terminal and it checks all your boxes. https://www.premierinn.com/gb/en/hotels/england/west-sussex/crawley/london-gatwick-airport-north-terminal.html
  7. Seems kinda high. Air Canada is quoting YYZ/FLL round trips for that general period of time in the $1,000 range for comfort class.
  8. I've never played but have seen the venue where they hold some bingos and it seems to be 'access controlled'. I think they'd prefer to have the bingo-just-for-fun crowd find something else to do for an hour or two.
  9. We are getting the XBB shot tomorrow afternoon at the OPH- Sir Wilfrid Laurier High School clinic. We will get flu shot at our doctor's office when my wife goes in for her annual in early November.
  10. Taco Bell, McDonald's and Burger King all within a two minute walk.
  11. The AC agent wouldn't answer your question on the ESTA although expect he/she has a pretty good idea.
  12. Maybe, but I wojldn't bet on it happening in the next couple of years. If OP doesn't want to go through pain/expense of getting a visa stamp from the US embassy, best to get a new passport free of Cuba stamps.
  13. Princess' policy is pretty clear on this... one bottle of wine per person. No mention of cabin occupancy or who paid what fare.
  14. I'd say the information you saw from that law firm is incorrect. Probably best to check with state authority on that.
  15. I never use(d) PVP and can see this will inconvenience a number of people. I'm with Johnson/MEDOC group travel/medical insurance. Canadian travelers will have to start looking at Manulife, Blue Cross, RBC, etc... for their travel insurance needs.
  16. You can cross the land border with a passport or passport card, a NEXUS card or an EDL.
  17. Yes. If I wished, I could buy 25 USD for 33.75 CAD (a 35% exchange rate). Currently, that's a pretty good deal if a person plans on using OBC.
  18. Unfortunately, I cannot answer your question but here is a bit of previous discussion on the same topic:
  19. Seems as though you know full well how to do this, but just can't at this time. Sorry... I have nothing else to offer.
  20. Hmmm... you ought to be able to do that by now. I did some on Emerald Princess about 10 months in advance. You need to do the reservations through the Medallion App. Are you using that?
  21. I don't 'feel' that at all or believe anything like it would happen. I simply suggested a (highly unlikely) scenario where a cruies line could save a few bucks by missing ports of call. I'd suggest though, that the real reason(s) for canceling port calls are due to bad weather and sea conditions, civil and labour unrest and safety/medical emergencies and not opportunities to pinch the fuel budget.
  22. If you don't want to pay for the service being provided onboard, don't go see them. Of course, there may be some complications.
