Lido deck on the royal class is where we always try to get also. Never been bothered by any noise. DW knows she can always find me in the horizon court drinking coffee in the morning when she wakes up since I wake up around 4:30am...🤣

Not on our last 2 cruises. They just had it on the menu and brought it sliced if you ordered it.

The main reason for the refurbishments in 2017 was for the medallion refitting if I remember right.

Fire hazard....that was the reason they also stopped the baked alaska parade.

AAhh....I was only on 1 RCL cruise and they didn't do it on that one either. I don't know if Carnival gives military OBC now or not, but princess seems to have always taken care of vets. I hear HAL does now also, but princess is still our favorite since Costa doesn't sail out of FL anymore 🤣

Was this for a special day event like memorial day? I've only been on 2 Carnival cruises but haven't seen anything like that on any of the cruises I've been on. I have thought about requesting to have one of the seats left empty at our table and have a beer placed there, but figured they wouldn't understand.

Have never seen a ceremony for military on any of the cruises we've been on, but there has always been a daily veterans meeting on the cruises we've been on

As Astro Flyer said, Military OBC is no longer refundable 😞 right up there with SHOBC.

They took what I believe was the old Princess building and made it a private lounge for suite guest. If I remember right, it's around a mile from the port.

But they are no longer good for two years, they are only good for 1 year now.

After 15 cruises.

I've been lucky so far with my CVP, have been able to get an accessible cabin every time so far. Even as far as getting a balcony one for interior price because we wanted an inside cabin.

While this is usually the case, it also depends on if any other princess ships, if any other royal class ships are in at the same time. I have seen them also use 21 I think it is.

CVP is what they used to call them or still do, not sure. Cruise vacation planers, first one they assigned me was also useless. I have had several problems with princess in the past and had been in contact with Ms. Swartz so when I had problems with that cvp she assigned me the one I have now who has been very good.

Wallyj is correct as far as I remember also, I think it's either $20-$25 per bottle now. Just looked it up on Princess website. It is $20 per bottle and it has been updated on website.

If I were you I'd be demanding to talk to your CVP's supervisor. My CVP said they must do this per ADA.

The way I read it is only alcohol drinks count towards the 15 a day....as far as more than 15 coffees a day, that was nothing when I was in the army....rofl....don't know if I could still do it, but will give it one heck of a try next cruise 🤣

The medallions have replaced the keycards you used to get. They unlock the door and use to buy things on board. You can also find shipmates by locating them and have drinks and food delivered to you because they can locate you.

Welcome to cruise critic. No, the artwork takes the place of the captain circle level logo...ie the color of the seawitch.

When we did our first medallion cruise in 2017 the wrist bands was part of the free package with everything else you got with the medallions and we have still been using them on every other cruise we've been on and they are still working great.

Maybe ask in the special interest cruising/ disabled cruise travel?
