  1. You can only purchase the standard Captain Stanley online. I like the other costume ones better. 🤣
  2. Hhhmmm....maybe that explains why a bottle at home only last about 3 glasses....🤣
  3. DW and I went to a mexican restaurant one time and she ordered a taco salad without the lettuce once...she was serious until I reminded her she was ordering a salad 🤣
  4. So, they're finally getting frustrated??? It's only been 7 years 🤣
  5. But at least with a mobility device you can still enjoy some of your life still. I'd rather see my DW use her scooter so she can get around and still do things than to give up on life because her knees won't let her walk as well as she used to.
  6. Thanks for reminding this old man about clearing cache and cookies. Worked like a charm 🤣 As for the app....I have no faith that it will ever get fixed, it's been the same company for more than 7 years and app # 3 or 4 and it still doesn't work.
  7. I have the same problem with the website, every time I went to make a payment I got the website down at the moment. I use Firefox as a browser. I decided to try microsoft edge to see what would happen and I got right in and was able to make a payment. Now gonna try clearing the cookies and cache.
  8. Guess I should have read more carefully 🤣my Evelyn Woods training is slipping.. Thanks
  9. Nope...never gonna happen. Keep right on going. I know how hard it is to get an accessible cabin. Last cruise we wanted to do the 7 day eastern Caribbean, but the only accessible cabin we could get was if we did it as a b2b. So we was forced to do a 14 day cruise just to get an accessible cabin. (They really didn't have to twist my arm too hard) but it is the point that we couldn't get it for just the 7 days.
  10. Our DS is going on our next cruise with us. He wants to know if they make grasshoppers, I've never seen them on the menus not would imagine they could make them, they have everything to make them there. Has anyone ever tried to order on? Oh....btw..Put me down for the dirty banana 🤣
  11. They should set up a tent outside of the ship where you have to pick them up and first. Make sure at the minimum make sure they know where the speed control know and that they do not have a brake and can't stop on a dime. 😞 I have used DW's scooter for things like loading onto the lift we have on the car (She doesn't like doing that) if you don't use them regularly they take time getting used to.
  12. I don't know why you'd think I don't feel strong about this issue. I am still sort of able bodied, but my DW uses a scooter. I make sure we have an accessible cabin so we can park it in the cabin. If I can't get us an accessible cabin, I her scooter does come apart into 4 parts, I would take them apart everytime we go into the cabin and put it in there. It would not be easy for me but I feel that is what would need to be done. I had to retire because my job was too hard on this old body, 13 years in the army did wear and tear on this old body and 38 years at my last job was very physical. Not saying I want sympathy or anything, just saying one should not assume that not everyone takes this kind of behavior is acceptable.
  13. On our last cruise I saw them move a few of them. Guess it depends on the crew and the ship. It is a hazard in emergency situations. Could you just imagine (Heaven forbid) a fire with smoke filled hallways half blocked by scooters?? I'd like to think if you put your complaint about the safety issue it might be fixed faster 🤣
  14. I just look at the MDR's to see which is open, I never take any of those papers anymore....DW has bought enough art work...I don't want to end up with anymore 🤣
  15. I motored DW's scooter up and down the gangway (because she was afraid to 🤣) hers is not a rental though.
  16. I have seen that on a couple of our cruises it was not a ships tender but a contracted boat being used, they picked up a couple regular scooters for the passengers as long as they could step onto the boat. Those boats had several crew members and two of the crew would lift it over.
  17. If you ask a crew member they may not tell you about the MDR, you may have to find which one is open on your own 🙂
  18. Arizonaperson Did a great job with the information, If you didn't get an accessible cabin or lucky enough to get a folding scooter just be sure not to leave it in the hallway please, as they are hard to get around and you may find it moved by staff. We had an accessible cabin last time for DW's scooter and there is plenty of room in there for them.
  19. I guess they finally figured out nobody listens to the boarding times they give out anyway. 🤣🤣
  20. They no longer assign times. You didn't say where your departing from, but if the ship you are going on arrives to your departure port early morning then you should be able to board starting boarding around 10:30-11:00am and I believe you must be onboard about 2 hours before departure.
  21. Please remember we are talking about a company that hired an outside company to create an app for the medallions 7 years ago and they still haven't gotten it right and still are working on it. I just think they need new leadership up top 🤣
  22. The 3 wheel scooter DW has looked a lot like almost all the rented ones we saw onboard. The one she has has the following specs.YMMV We always get an accessible cabin to make sure we have plenty of room with it inside. Model Go Go® Elite Traveller Plus 3-Wheel Model Number1 SC53 Number or Tires3 Front Tires22" x 8" Rear Tires23" x 9" solid Maximum Speed8Up to 4.5 mph Ground Clearance21.7" at transaxle; 2.6" at side deck Turning Radius234.5" Length240" Width2,421.25" Seat-to-Ground Height Range220.5"-22" Seat-to-Deck Range216.25"-17.75"
  23. Having T-Mobile myself, I know my plan would not cover it, nor would I chance it. But the closest I could find on the website was this. Unlimited international texting from home Stay in touch with friends and family around the world from here at home. This feature allows you to send and receive unlimited text messages to any country in the world where texting is available (except St. Helena and Wallis and Futuna). I keep my phone in airplane mode and can then use wifi calling and texting.
  24. Only military is per guest, CCL has always been 1 per cabin for as long as I can remember. Both military and stock OBC are now non refundable. So be sure to use it all or lose it. Last cruise we put most of our OBC into the casino and cashed out what was left (we don't really gamble a lot 🤣).
