This posted weird. None of my post showed up but the two photos. The first one is the view from DD!’s deck, a week ago. The second is what the beach and end of the walkover look like now. They can’t use it. I akso posted a video which was the river looking back at my DS’s house from his dock, which is now mostly gone. IMG_9907.MOV

I’m way behind and trying to catch up, but want to say having a knee replacement and a hip replacement are totally different. (Except for the Hibiclens prep.) I had PT after both…hip was so less painful than the knee that I honestly don’t remember any pain. The knee would get inflamed or just overworked and be painful for at least six months , the only reminder of my hip surgery was the scar. By a year out, the knee felt like I was born with it, the hip felt that way by a month out. A bad hip can cause debilitating falls. In my case, it wasn’t falls, it was pain that decided me. So, Graham, if orthopedist recommends a replacement, I’d think seriously about doing it.

I had to do a marathon read to catch up but it was worth every minute. Seeing pictures of drinks isn’t as good as drinking them, but they looked so good, I could almost taste them! -
What a range of emotions! Your not great hotel stirred up some bad memories, including a trip to the ER, then meeting Elaine and making something special out of her first solo cruise, a shore excursion that made it possible to remember and honor friends and loved ones, an extraordinary meal (for those of us who haven’t experienced it), ending with a lovely pair of then and now pictures! What a great review it’s been so far! But now you’ve planted Sweet Caroline in my head! Dang! Forgot to say Happy Anniversary!

I look forward to food that I don’t have to cook myself, so I’m checking out the complimentary restaurants. Two that are new to me are El Loco Fresh and Cantina Fresca. They are both complimentary and both serve Mexican food and they’re adjacent to each other? I hope someone can explain the difference between them!
