Wendy,
Just have your TA ask for a scale before you board or do it yourself when you get on the ship.

The 2022WC brochure arrived today - very nice.
It has more details about the Events and the Overlands.

Drib,
I found it - a friend gave me a hint and I found it in my files - 2009 WC on the Voyager and Ring Of Fire on the Mariner . . .
Thanks for your help!
Peggy
PS: No World Cruise on Regent from 2013-2016.

Drib,
What year did Regent do 2 WC trips? My best guess is 2011 but can't find the information in my files. Do you know?
2010 was a regular WC and '12-16, none.
TIA!

Thanks Drib!

Thanks CLO . . .
I did the same thing.
By the way, a Circle Pacific/Ring of Fire is done occasionally as a World Cruise . . . Regent has done it is the past to break up the "regular" WC trip.
Thanks . . .Peggy

Did you see a printed list of the itinerary? If so, where?
Thanks . .Peggy

I've done numbers of Regent included excursions over the years and for the most part have been happy with them - are there some which have been have been disappointing? Yes but very few and mainly in places where that would happen in any case - poor infrastructure, bad weather - that sort of thing.

Zqueeze1,
>>Terry Brennen<< Terry Bishop?

Mario extended his last contract to stay to the end of the WC - and possibly beyond, through dry dock - so he's on vacation. I have no information regarding his next contract though.

Looking forward to you blog and also to seeing the Nav changes. Cabins? P7? Nav+Galileo Lounges?
TIA!

Redmaid,
My experience was different than yours:
I sent a free postcard - a picture of the ship - this past winter from the Navigator to Friends in Australia - after they got off but while the ship was still in Australia. They got the card a few days after I gave it to Reception.
I'm sorry you had a problem.

The current cruise on the Navigator is a charter through the WWII Museum in New Orleans.
The trip ends in Southampton and the ship goes into dry dock. The Arctic cruise starts there after a week+ . .
I'm not 100% sure of the specific name of the NO Museum nor of the exact dates of the dry dock or when it ends

interesting. I sent it to some long-time cruisers

Lana,
I would book the tours you really want asap and then when you board, check with Destinations. That way you'll have the time you want. Sheila's advice is very good.
Also, be sure you tell Destinations when you arrive that you need a seat at the front of the bus (handicapped) for all your tours. They will be sure it is reserved for you.
I'm hoping we'll have experiences people for the '20WC - we did in '19.
I agree with you about the distance from the ship to the bus but unfortunately that isn't always something which is known before we're actually docked. I think the problem is that ship's staff is not allowed to help passengers off the ship. We can talk about this at some point.
Looking forward to meeting you . . .

837 Navigator - nice cabin - feet forward beds. Near the front elevators. Ping Pong table in that area but I never heard any noise. I've booked the cabin again for a trip in 2020.
841 Navigator - fine as well. no issues.
I like deck 8 - half way between Pool Deck and Reception.
-
I forward my mail for WC with no problem . . . .

Kim - it's Luggage FORWARD on board. Not Luggage Free.
