  1. Yes, we are thinking of doing the same. But only if the 14 day quarantine once we return is lifted, we'll see how things unfold in the next few months.
  2. Although not as exciting as yours, our first cruise was in May 2012 on Celebrity Equinox. We did go to some Greek Islands (Santorini and Mykonos). We've been on 20 or more cruises since, guess you can say we caught the bug...
  3. For what it's worth, here is a video from a crew member of the Captain announcement for the upcoming cruise. He mentions they expect to have 1500 passengers.
  4. Good to hear you got your refund... Got my refund this week from my May 7th cruise. I originally took the FCC and less than 30 days ago decided to just go for the refund. So I was happy it didn't take the full 30 days to receive the refund, I was more than happy to find out it looks like they also refunded my airfare because i got much more than i was expecting (they originally said they wouldn't refund airfare). So very pleased. Looking forward to 2021...
  5. Royal Canceled, it was non refundable. I know it was non refundable but since Royal canceled I really though I would get the air refunded. Here is the quote from Royal. "if you booked non-refundable air through Royal Caribbean or booked on your own, please contact the service provider directly for your options with them." Oh well, better than nothing and we will travel again so I'm sure I'll use it. Just worried about the one year from issue date.
  6. Very cool, our Cruise was Ovation of the Seas repo Honolulu to Vancouver it was to be on May 7th. I too will be using it to get video of my grandson, just haven't had the chance yet with Staying at home. Have to settle for video chats for now.
  7. I purchased a dji osmo mobile 3 combo gimbal, was really looking forward to using it on our Hawaii Cruise in May. Oh well, now that I have it, we'll just have to wait until we can vacation again.
  8. Royal did NOT refund my Air2Sea flight cost. I had to go to United Air and cancel myself and could not get a refund. I had to take an Electronic Travel Certificate. From the email that come with the Certificate "The certificate may be used for travel on flights operated by United® as well as United Express® flights, and is valid for one year from the original date of issue, unless otherwise noted."
  9. My takeaway He kind of answered his own questions… Richard says…“Think back a few weeks…” Who understood the true significance Who realized it would impact each of us so dramatically Who fathomed the level of pain and frustration it would cause That’s correct Richard, WHO (World Health Organization) did…
  10. FYI, not sure if you received your refund yet, but I canceled my deluxe drink packages and excursions in my cruise planner on March 12th and got my refund back on my credit card today March 17th.
  11. Yeah just did, glad I saw this thread i didn't realize how good of a deal it was.
  12. Just noticed my May 7-19th Ovation of the Seas cruise is now $48, based on what I've read here I should jump on that price.
  13. Guy's Burgers were my favorite Until we cruised on Nieuw Statendam and now the Dive-In Cannonball burger is my favorite Best of all these are free, not a fan of paying extra for JR.
  14. We had lunch on our Embarkation day and enjoyed all except my entree was Steak Frites, they did not have fries so gave me bread instead. Not happy with my entree but everything else was fantastic
