My wife entered this contest. Got a email yesterday she won. Called vv today got a lady and she also verified we won. Says we will be get a access code to enter in, in a few days. I understand the whole SSN and birthday thing. they have to report anything over $600 to IRS so you pay taxes on it. Just seems crazy to take this long a week into September when most of you were writing in late July. Does anyone have any new info on this? Does this seem like the same protocol all winners have gotten? Do they ask for credit card numbers? is this legit??

Go to Shipmate.com you can create an account. You can add the year, ship, it will bring up the itinerary with the exact dates and islands. We were in the same boat so to speak…so now we have a log of all the cruises and places we’ve been. It’s a pretty neat site. Try it and write back to see how it went. My wife was on a Norwegian cruise in 1986 could not find that one… have fun..

We love Murano’s Flambeau’d Table side lobster. Plus we did a Murano’s lunch one with a lobster tail and fillet that was cooked perfectly and was excellent. Never done Petit Chef. Tuscan Grill has been pretty good but still not as good as Murano’s IMHO.

Its lightening for the iPad and iphone 11. 2 iPads and 2 iPhone 11.what I’ve read is there is only a couple outlets in the room. That why I thought one of these would work? I’m no electrician. Just looking for the best multiple plug.

Im still searching for a multiple plug in that fits and will not be confiscated. Would either of these be acceptable? We would use apple product iPad and iPhone 11.

I am having a tough time navigating and finding anything on our room for January 2 cruise on Equinox room number 2130 on the12th floor. Ive tryed many times to find rooms on this chart with no success. I’m doing it on an iPad. is someone able to find the pros and cons of this room for us? Any help would be appreciated..

DW lived in West Allis she moved to Stevens Point. I lived in Green Bay for 30 years after we married I moved to Point to live together there and then both retired and now live in Daytona Beach. Loved Wisconsin. Hated the snow. Florida is great too. Plus being so close to the ports is nice. Do you cruise often.? Last time we cruised was Nov 2019. Got one booked in January and one in April. Absolutely love everything about cruising. Such a great group of cruisers on this site.

Yes Jelayne, Thats the way to do it. On our next one we will ask around on TA’s It’s a shame that on a site like this devoted to cruising and sharing info with people that have the same interest you can’t share that type of info. Not sure what the negative would be. Better than just taking a wild guess on who’s a good TA. Makes no sense to me but has to be a reason. BTW some people on this site have links to their personal email that you can email. We’ve booked all our cruises except the last one directly through Celebrity. Never an issue but like people say maybe they have outsourced their customer service.

Happy you have a good reliable TA. But my complaint is no one knows but you and CC doesn’t want you to share. Id love extra OBC but with the misery we went through with our one and only time booking through one it was not worth the effort. That’s why I was wondering if it’s ok to direct email then you could share with others? Just curious!

Is it against rules to direct email?

All I can say is make sure you get a good TA. Of course no one can say on this site to help you. Which is irritating. Yes all the extra OBC sounds appealing but we did book our last and only cruise through a well known Florida TA and it was a complete disaster. We did more work that she did and then she stiffed us on the extra $100 OBC she promised. We are not high maintenance and never changed a thing on the original booking. She couldn’t get a simple booking correct and we were perfectly clear about everything. Again would love to leave her name and company on here to help others but we are not allowed to. Celebrity will be reluctant to talk to you after transferring your booking to a TA. There are some good TA’s out there hard to find without a recommendation from someone who has one.

So has it always been 45 days out prior to cruise to book boarding times? So I am guessing the quicker you book the better choice of getting your choice of boarding times?

Hello fellow cruisers! I need some help. I do not fly by airplane anywhere just a phobia thing. My DW and I want to go to Europe or Mediterranean by cruise ship and come back into same port in Florida. We’ve been all over the Caribbean and want to try something else that I don’t have to fly to. Does Celebrity or any other cruise line do this. I don’t want to do a 100 day tour…but something less of course. Maybe I’m asking for something that doesn’t exist. Any help would be appreciated…remember I can’t get there or back by air. I don’t row a boat well either… thanks!

HMM?so what are we recommending to use? Issues are they really a non surge unit and will they fit in a recessed room ship outlet?

Maybe this has been covered and I haven’t read all of these posts but would celebrity let you bring a non surge protector on the ship to use? Such as the attached file?

Hope you are enjoying your vacation. Just curious if you get to the Martini Bar who are the lead flair bartenders there. There are usually a couple that are there every night all cruise and head up the festivities.. Thank you in advance and enjoy your cruise.

Reposting and hoping for info! Hello Fellow Cruisers! My DW and I are cruising on the Equinox on Jan 2, 2023 heading to Southern Caribbean to the ports of Barbados, Antigua, St Lucia, St Kitts and Martinique. We were wondering if anyone that has cruised these ports has did Power or Scooter Snorkeling as an excursion on any of them. We did this while on HAL at Turks and Caicos and really enjoyed it. It’s just a smaller power unit you hold onto and it takes you through the water with ease. if anyone has did this on any of the islands I mentioned please let me know. I wasn’t trying to be sassy in my previous post just looking for help! Thank you in advance.

Thanks Zackarykeef, I doubt it was the same Putu that was on the Equinox in 2018 that I met at the Martini Bar. I think Putu may be a common name from the country they are from. But not sure. If any other names come to mind please share.
