  1. Goodbye Miami. See you Fall 2025. Pam and I part ways at the airport. Thanks roomie. It was fun. I have a layover in Atlanta before heading to Portland, so I have lunch. Where I meet someone that is also headed to Portland. We talk and I end up getting her number with an offer to stay in her home in Ireland. WHAT? When I land in Portland, I am in the terminal that has some tile work done by my cousin’s company. Way to go Nancy! I am happy to be home to the fur balls. Thank you to Jeff for letting me hitch a ride on the trip report. Thank you Pam for the roomie invite. Thank you to all that read, hit the thumbs up, laughing and thanks buttons. And finally thank you Tribe!
  2. @Jamman54 I'm gonna hang around here until you are finished. And now for my parting invading post. I woke up before dawn and watched the cruise terminals pass by the windows.
  3. So did I. Putting real people whom I've have talked to for a while was a wonderful experience.
  4. After I headed back to the room. The boys have finished their last drink before they get packed. One last tribe meet up. Pam was late because she was getting her official beer drinking certification. Our last dinner is at Rudi's.
  5. Unlike Jeff and Pattie, we do not blow off the VIFP party. We really don’t belong but Megan invited Pam and I to attend. I ain’t blue but I’m pretty close to. IMG_0927.MP4
  6. The wind is picking up, but it’s my turn to try it out while Pam man’s the pictures. I get five to five people away from being hooked up and they stop the course because of the wind. What to do? What to do? Get a drink or two? IMG_0915.MP4
  7. Well after last night’s fancy meal, us steerage ladies are going to visit the main dining room to get breakfast. I liked the bobble tree in the middle of the sparkly stairs. Tomatoa would love it too. Shiny, like a treasure………… We wandered outside to see the rope course. They are cleaning it off after some rain and it will be opening soonish. So, we head down to steerage to put on closed toe shoes where we find Ellie saying goodbye to us.
  8. I would do it as it was the best meal I had on the ship. And fun!
  9. I want to say thanks to @sid_9169 for asking about allergies at The Chef Table months in advance. I have a few. There were six items that they had to adjust. I always feel kind of bad that they must go extra for me. But the chefs did a great job of keeping me safe. The mushroom and white chocolate truffle turned into a pumpkin truffle. When they served me an alternative appetizer, that I could have eaten, I whispered this fact to Pam. The chef came and asked me if there was something wrong. There is no way he could have heard me. But he did see me. (sigh, sorry) I explained my weird intolerance, and all was OK. This mini loaf is made on board. I want one or two of those right now! Steak Tartare: not covered in mushrooms. Yellow carrots instead. Chicken instead of shrimp. The last sweet course had four items. Two had been switched out for a couple of wonderfully delish treats.
  10. I had been hitting my medicine cabinet hard and was able to make it through the day pretty well with a little help from some liquid medicine. Tonight, Pam and I are hitting The Chef Table.
  11. I'll take the bone marrow and bread. Then the another round of the same!
  12. Ahhhhhhhh, but you got that red thing! Life is good.
  13. Well maybe you all will find dinner more up your alley. Cucina del Capitano, I LOVED their Carbonara. And here is the result of almost doing a face plant at the beach. And yes I'm old with dry wrinkled feet and a bad pedicure.. 🤪
  14. Yes, I do have peanut butter with my hot dog. Have for years. It's a family thing. Don't knock it until you have tried it. No ketchup. Just mustard and peanut butter. Or bologna with mustard and peanut butter.
  15. I decided to head back to the ship while Pam enjoyed the sun, sand and sea. I think I am having the same lunch at Patti di a day or two ago. But with peanut butter on the side for the hotdog.
  16. Pam is taking a swim. I almost fell face forward into the water. But I did find a piece of sea glass.
  17. We steerage ladies went to Megan’s Bay today. And yep, it’s also a twisty taxi ride. Life today is a beach.
  18. OMG, I just had to hit the back button and erase something I typed. It would have gotten me in trouble. Luckly, I caught myself. But it was along the lines of : "Kittie unite". I’m old, I still call this thongs.
  19. LOL This one was in a cafe near the first museum. I might have taken pictures of a few more.
