Recent VIBE passes on Escape

Plan on them selling out quickly, that way you'll have a chance at getting them. As the above poster mentioned, these things sometimes vary, but more often than not they're gone in the first hour or two. There are only 80-ish passes available on a ship with some 4,000 passengers.

What is the new platinum boarding program?

Platinum, Platinum Plus, and Ambassador latitudes status get priority boarding. This is in addition to Suite guests, wedding parties, CAS, B2B, and special needs guests.

With so many people boarding before general boarding begins, getting a VIBE pass is difficult if not in one of the above groups.

Can someone tell me the process by which you get priority boarding? My wife and I are platinum (have been for our last 3 cruises) and I still don't know how we can take advantage of this. Do we ask for this option when we get our key cards?

If you're cruising out of Miami there is a separate waiting area once you go upstairs. You don't need to get a boarding group card anymore. Just show them your keycard, which has your latitudes status on it, and they'll direct you to the waiting area.

We're platinum plus, we got there early and used the left hand line for priority so we were on quickly and got to headliners and gr numbers 18 and 19 vibe pass. Use the priority line. We were waved straight onto the ship with no need for a boarding number

We're going on the Escape March3. Ive been thinking of paying the $99 for VIBE but others say save the $99..we only have 2 days at sea use H2O for sunning. Any advice?? Thanks

That's entirely up to you. Some people won't sail without it and others say they felt the money was wasted. Only you can tell after you've experienced it. There aren't many "quiet" outdoor places on the ship. Plus you can use it at port - we often would return from port around 2-3 and would head straight there.

The fist time I got the passes I was group 4 I ran through the steps and crowds of less fit folks and got to the desk before groups that boarded ahead of me and I did get 2 passes.

The second time which was a few weeks ago I was at the port early and they held me up at the desk because they screwed up my dining for my family I was under standing but I did say you held me up for getting my passes so the lady just said call me in a hour.

She saw us in the hall way and handed the passes to my wife very nice lady we were very appreciative.

We are on the Escape now (18 Nov cruise) and got passes for my DW and myself. We were group 2, but the boarded groups 1 & 2 at the same time. We camped out by the bathrooms in the waiting area and were amongst the first to board when they called our groups. We went straight to Headliners and got our passes. 5 minutes after we got ours, the final 10 or so were handed out.

Congratulations on the vibe tickets & have a great week. It's my first time on NCL next week on Escape. I'm thinking about trying to get vibe passes. What time do we need to get at the port to have a chance? Is it easy to figure out where you need to sit or stand to be at the front when they start boarding? What's quickest path to Headliners?

In order to get boarding group 1, it you would need to be at the terminal around 9;00-9:30... Depending on which terminal you're in, B or C, that would determine where you need to be upon boarcing. In trminal B, the line will start over near the restrooms, facing the ship... In terminal C, the line will start near the left side of the room (facing the ship) behind where the embarkation pictures are taken. Onc on the ship, go down the stairs to deck 6, and headliners is at the glass staircase past guest services...

As early as possible. I'd say get there by 10:30. They let handicapped, Casino At Sea guests, Plantinum and up, and Haven guests board before anyone else.

Headliners is on deck 6 right next to the stairs and if I remember correctly you enter on deck 8. There are stairs right under the giant chandelier, just head down those to deck 6 and turn left at the bottom, you'll see Headliners.

Thanks for the information. Will they let me check in before my designated time? I probably should have done the online check-in before today but it gave me a time of 12:30 to 1:00 PM.

They were not allowing people to enter the terminal early in October. I'd call NCL and try to get your time changed. I did not see a way to do it online.

I want to try for a vibe pass but now I am a lil confused. Where to we go for one? Headliners? Service desk? My daughter is going to run ahead of me on board but I need to know where she should go.

On the Escape it is Headliners. Everyone who wants Vibe passes must be present, so it will not matter if your daughter runs ahead. She can get one pass, but not one for you too. I have heard of some people getting more than one pass, but not often.
