Can you use the Cheers program in HMC?

DW and I purchased the Cheers program for our upcoming trip. Since you are using your SS card in Half Moon Cay does the program apply? Thank.

no, but you should be able to, they accept S&S cards, you can grab a couple of beers on board and bring a small cooler to the beach

No nor the Sail and Sign card for drinks.

Nope, on the island, you pay for all your drinks of any kind. Bottomless bubbles don't work either.

If the S & S card works on Half Moon Cay, why the hell shouldn't the Cheers card work. They own the island.

The only explantation is they want to make more money off of us.

This is exactly why you should use all 15 drinks each day on the Cheers program. Give the drinks out to friends and strangers. Bring some beers and sodas back to the room for your stops.

Hell, I have 3 days at sea so I should be able to save up to a case of beer. And if I give some strangers a free drink from Cheers maybe they would buy me the same at one of the stops.

This just in, Carnival likes to make money.

You can't call something a scam when they tell you up front and you type your credit card info in and buy it anyway...

Sarcasm aside, what I do on itins with these stops, is not book them. I don't avoid RC cruises with stops at their islands, specifically because they allow the package to be used on them. If Carnival did the same, I'd book their itins with owned island stops. I just vote with my wallet.
