Pluto' s Twin Posted June 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2018 First post, apologies if question has been asked before. What transfer optons would you recommend, first time cruise for us, party of four adults and one child, First part of trip staying at Disney POFQ, second part of trip on Disney Dream. Would you suggest the Disney transfer or an alternative? Ideally on return trip to Disney springs for early airport check-in.
CruiserBruce Posted June 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2018 Welcome to Cruise Critic! The better place for your research on this would be the portion of Cruise Critic devoted to Disney, located here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=167 Many more experts there. Normally, the common advice would be you can probably do a transfer easier on your own, but Disney has such a well designed product, doing the transfer through Disney could definitely be the better choice. 1025cruise Posted June 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2018 Or, you could ask on the Florida Departures board.
cruiserking Posted June 21, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2018 Welcome to Cruise Critic. I would recommend taking the Disney transfer from Walt Disney World to the Port Canaveral. Disney will take your luggage from your hotel directly to the ship. The charge is $35 per person which is comparable to most cab companies. Disney is a reliable company, job one with them is customer service. I wouldn't think twice about, go with Disney. Jonathan

Pluto' s Twin Posted June 23, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted June 23, 2018 Thanks for the replies. What about disembarkation, our return flight to the UK isn't until 18:30. What would you recommend ?
Capt_BJ Posted June 23, 2018 #7 Share Posted June 23, 2018 one option assuming you will be worn out from your cruise is to book a 'day room' in the airport hotel enjoy the pool, take a nap it is a great end to your trip … and you have no luggage worries BUT I also recognize that if getting on a long flight, maybe being rested isn't your first concern ….
