Spring Break-April 14-18 Empress

Is this Spring break time for a cruise? We are sailing to Nassau and Key West on Empress April 14-18. Will the kids be over running all over the ship and causing havoc?? I hope not!

That's probably after most schools have their break and most kids would not pick that ship.

I agree with Biker. The schools that tie the timing of their spring break to Easter/Passover would all be back in school. There are some schools that have a "mid-winter break" in February and maybe some time off in April, but if so, very few.

That’s what I thought last year. It was the end if March. 1800 collage kids all with the drink package. You could not get near a bar. Forgot about trying to sleep. Empress was not prepared. They ran out of security. Most of them were posted out side people’s doors. It was a mess.

You'll have some kids, most probably. If nothing else, it's school vacation week in Massachusetts. But it's probably too small of a ship and too late in the season to be overrun.

Lots of partying going on for sure on these short 4 day cruises, especially with a drink package!
