Parents gave me a cruise for Christmas(joining them) it's not until Jan 20th. Basic cabin not any Aqua/concierge class stuff. I'm in my own cabin down the hall from theirs.

A dinner at Tuscan Grille: 1) is tip included in the $45pp? 2) Assume the drink package still works dining here?

I don't drink alcohol so got the Premium NON-alcoholic package. Is there anything other than alcohol exempt from this package?

Any chance we'll see the NFL championship games on a big screen?

Do they have electronic roulette or blackjack in the casino?

That's all for now will probably think of more later. Thanks All.

As to Tuscan, $45 is including gratuity, but some tip additional. There are usually discounts available for the specialty restaurants - 20 to 50%, but you have to ask. If you are flexible as to day and time, you have a much better chance of getting the discount. We have never paid full price, and we go quite often.

Tuscan can be hit or miss with both service and quality, in my experience. In my opinion, Murano is much better.

The game should be shown somewhere but I'm not sure if it will be on the big screen.

Casino - I'm not sure, I only like the live games.

Spent a week on the equinox 2 weeks ago. Watched several games in the gastrobar. they have 3 or 4 tvs and one larger at the bar... nice venue for sports.

Have a wonderful cruise Equnox is a great ship.. Glass blowing was really nice.. enjoyed more than I expected...

Tuscan was excellent the night we visited. and gratuity is included..

Muranos was so good we went twice

The Equinox is one of my favorites.

I would think the game would be on. I've watched NFL / KC Chiefs before on the big screen.

Tuscan has always been good to us so enjoy. I rarely tip extra unless beyond the call of duty.

Bev package should include virtually everything but a little iffy on smoothies though. Just ask before you order.

Casino unsure as I'm a table games guy, dice / blackjack.

Hoping your parents are in a regular cabin otherwise it could cause problems with dining arrangements.

We were just on Equinox and it is a great ship, you should be able to see the game at Gastrobar and it is a nice venue to do so. Sometimes with big games, the cruise line sets up parties so check the dailies.

Look for deals at Tuscan Grill, rare to pay the regular price, especially first night but also on other nights.

I don't know about the NFL championship games, but I was on a Celebrity Ship once for the Super Bowl. They had a big party with hot dogs, etc. in the theater with a giant screen. It was a great event, even though my team did not win.
