Your Favorite Alaska Picture Reviews?

It seems like most posters post their Alaska cruise reviews in their Cruise line forum rather than the Alaska forum. Every time I try searching for Alaska pictorial reviews I come up with one of the same two threads. There has to be more out there!

it would be helpful to include the original posters name when you attach a link. That way we don't have to open each one to see if it's already been added.

I think any review, even without photos is a good resource.

You are correct. I posted this live thread of our trip to AK last Aug31 to Sept 7 on the Royal Caribbean board. I hope it will give you something you can use.

LOL - thanks for putting my review in you list MSM!!! Never really dawned on me to post our Alaka review on the RCI thread - it just seemed more fitting here. I posted a whole bunch of our first Alaska trip photos as a countdown thread on here last spring until the Admins decided it was too much about photos and moved the thread to the photo discussions board:). While I do find photos to be worth a thousand words - or more - I'm trying to provide some enriching content to go with them so it doesn't get bumped again! I think most people who even look at the photo forums think they're all too technical, and there are some great photo sharing threads on there.

I've enjoyed doing our second trip so much, I think I'm going to go back and recap our first trip! Other posters, like the two others you listed, and others in the past, really helped me both plan for and relive our Alaska trips, and I hope my review has helped others too.

This is mine on the Westerdam Sept 1st. The first few posts, I was trying to add pics directly to the post and they were coming out tiny and unimpressive. I got that fixed before Glacier Bay by uploading everything to a Flickr account. From then on the pics are embedded in my posts.

One of my favorite reviews is over on the Norwegian board, Review of Jewel to Alaska 7-28 to 8-4 with Pictures by SDMike. I am unable to post a link, but you can find it by putting SDMike in the thread search window. Amazing pictures!

Arrived in Fairbanks 8/29 for a 1-week land trip. A few days in Fairbanks to explore, a flight to Arctic Circle/Beaver Village, then rented a car and drove to Anc, stopping in Denali and Talkeetna. Train to Seward on Sept 7 for SB RCI cruise.
