Navigator Corner Aft Questions

Recommended Posts

Are the corner afts covered or open to above balconies? How much shade/sun?Are the cabins/balconies on decks 6 and 7 the same as 8 and 9?

On 6&7 corner afts are covered and not open to above balconies?

How much shade/sun is relative to where you are relative to sun and whete you are cruising.

On TA west bound in november our cabin 7688 had sun

Most of day every day there was sun.

6 doesn't have side view but 7 does .

the balconies on decks 6 and 7 are not the same as 8 and 9?

7 is best

9 and 10 are partially covered but open to above

Aft corners Cabins I believe are same except on 10

Hopefully I can get these pics to post ;). We had 7688 on ExOS and 9690 on Adventure - both are corner afts and E1s. I would personally not choose the corner on deck 8 because of the door arrangment (no slider and only half glass - cabin seems to be on the dark side. Deck 9 is slightly better, still no slider but full glass door and huge port hole.

As you see, deck 9 is much more open and visible from above. Deck 7 is very covered but HUGE!!

OK...that did it....booked 7688:D Any problem bringing the hammock on board and finding someplace/way to attach it? We have one we could bring.

We have this same balcony only on the FOS 7708 port side, can't wait to experience this next April...

If by best you mean biggest yes,... Booked in 2009 on the first day of booking for the TA... Awesome balcony average room

The average room is a deluxe E1 and the price is usually right.

Balcony is outstanding.

No problem at all bringing it - ours packs into a bag and weighs about 3 pounds. It was packed in a big suitcase. DH got a hammock hanging kit at Academy (the blue ropes you see in the pics.)

As for hanging it, there are holes in the beams that he ran the ropes through. He was able to just toss/poke/push the rope through the openings, but you could stand on a chair if you had to. Then all you have to do is tie some good knots. Have fun - you'll enjoy your hammock!!:)
