The stateroom I want has pullman beds, but I don't need them.

This is on Liberty of the Seas. I understand the pullman beds come out of the ceiling? So if we don't use them, will we even notice that they're there? In other words, do they make the ceiling lower, or anything like that? Thanks!

I have known people that put one down and use it as extra storage space.

Yes, we leave Nov 29 and there's only 2 of us. I'm currently booked in an M categorty stateroom, but the L category is now cheaper by $110 per person. I hesitated at first because most L staterooms have pullman beds and I've only seen the kind that come out of the wall and are unsightly. But if the pullman beds on Libery come out of the ceiling and are invisable when stowed, then why not switch to an L and save $110 per person, right?

Even if they do come out of the wall and are unsightly, for $220 in my pocket, I could look at ugly for a week! ;)
