I would let cruises on Carnival's sister lines count toward VIP embarkation -- wouldn't cost the cruise line anything, but would be a nice reward. If you get a combined total of 10 cruises you get VIP boarding, but only those with 10 cruises on Carnival itself would get the other Platinum perks.

 

This might give someone more of an incentive to try out one of the other lines while they're chasing Platinum.

1) Add more varied itineraries

 

2) Get a Carnival-dedicated island like Half Moon Cay, maybe in the western/southern Caribbean

 

3) Make a rule that 7-day sailings have 4 port days (many only have 3)

 

4) Add a little more innovation to the ships instead of just making them bigger... Like it or hate it, the newer RCCL ships are an all new experience.

Bring back Cave Tubing in Belize. Like most people, I'm going to go anyway (with one of the recommended independent tour operators) but I'd like to be able to enjoy the most popular excursion in Belize without anxiety over missing the ship. All the other cruise lines still offer it!

Add itineraries for Seattle. We will have alaska cruises sailing from here next year, but more choices would be welcome. More west coast cruises, or a few that go to Asia would be wonderful.
