Royal Caribbean killed my dog!

Recommended Posts

As overly dramatic titles seem to be all the rage, I had to come up with one that would compete with some of the others I've seen lately.

I have been AWOL from the boards until just recently and I am curious to know of any news (rumor, conjecture...whatever) regarding possible changes to the C&A level requirements.

I did try to search but to no avail.

Thanks!

Oh, and no animals were hurt in the writing of this post...

RCCL should give you a Diamond Plus collar tag to go with the Diamond studded collar and the replacement dog that you shouldn't have to ask for.

If you are eating in the speciality resturant, your dog should be at least 12 years old - otherwise they are too young and will bother others looking for a romantic dinner.

Did you know that if your dog is the 3rd passenger in the cabin they will have to pay more than you! :D

Well, MY dog is ALWAYS on his best behavior. Surely the age rule only applies to other, less mannered, dogs.

And now that I have a dog AND a pony, the rates should drop because there will be four of us in the room.

I really hate to burst your bubble but your pony is double sized so you will need to get a second cabin or a family suite. But the good news is you can call the special services division and they will help arrange the special diet your pony will need. I'm sure the filet migon will be just fine for your dog.

So Royal Caribbean discriminates against mixed species families now? My pony doesn't eat nearly as much as an adult would. This is just bad business practices by Royal Caribbean.

Well, maybe not. But your pony also doesn't participate in revenue generating activities like the bar, bingo, art auctions, spa treatments and since there is no horse racing - the casino. Therefore, while your pony may eat less, it also doesn't produce as much revenue. And don't forget, they have to hire an extra person for the free "poop patrol" (don't forget, you really should tip them).
