Thanks for sharing such a lovely story. I hope the Queen has a lovely holiday. I don't

know if she gets enough credit for devoting almost her entire life to her job. She deserves

her cruise.

Hi All

Even if you do not support having a royal family,

this lady of 84 I think sure packs a lot in each and every day of her life.

The fact she has for so long put her duty before her own pleasure, shows

she is the last of a line, do not think we will see such again.

Yes, I agree, she has given her life to the throne.

I don't get it. This woman has served her country with grace her entire adult life. I don't think she chose to be in this position or campaigned to get it, unlike many of the "lords and ladies" we have here. I admire her and don't think she should be the butt of jokes. Many of us should hope that when we reach her age we behave as well as she does.

Here, here! Long live her Majesty.....................

Queen Elizabeth. Not the 2nd for us in Scotland!

I certainly don't envy her her job especially as it is for life with no retirement age. Hope the sun shines for her.

that cost more than $200000 a week or even $300000 converting to pounds.

£125k was the figure I heard quoted a few times and paid for from her own pocket. Good luck to her..!!

Ahem! Shouldn't that be HM Queen Elizabeth? :)

Yeah... ya got me there! Obviously not up to speed with my Royal etiquette - apologies ;)

Shouldn't this be in a different part of the forum as the Hebridean Princess isn't a Princess 'ship'...? Confused!

It was just meant as a bit of harmless fun.....

Good one, did she get the black Elite card for the laundry and priority tenders ? She would be feisty in the battle of the Horizon Court Buffet.

Rule Britannia, she is our Queen too.
