Allure/Oasis Boardwalk Staterooms - AFT

I'm looking for information on the Boardwalk B1 staterooms - just wondering those that have been on Oasis, the aft location, can you see the water shows from your balcony?

Yes - There is a good view of the Aqua Theatre.

You can see them from your balcony. We went and actually sat in the Aqua Theater for the first show and then were able to view it at other times. Sitting in the actual theater is a whole different perspective than form your balcony. Seeing from the audience level, the dives seem truly unbelievable. Seeing from the balcony perspective is seeing more from the divers viewpoint. Both provide spectacular experiences.

Yes, you can see the AquaTheater show. I second denamo that it´s different. We once saw the show sitting in the regular seats and another time we went up to the public balconies above the suites. Totally different view.

 

But be aware that the Boardwalk area is pretty noisy during the day (the balcony doors are closing pretty tight so you don´t have any noise in the cabin). And I prefer a location closer to the elevator area to avoid long walks. The aft staircase turned out to be a perfect spot for a cabin location as this staircase acesses the Boardwalk, the Central Park and the Royal Promenade. Going up you´re at the Pool Deck and the Windjammer Café.

Thanks for the perspective, I'm having a difficult time in deciding what location. This ship has so many options, and it takes really looking into the different locations. Any other suggestions?

Suggest you jump in and book a boardwalk cabin. We will be in one in Jan; can't wait.

We were also having trouble deciding where on this giant ship would be best for us. We always have a balcony, but this time we are taking our 11 year old grandson and thought it would be more fun for him (and different for us) to have a veiw of the boardwalk and the aqua theatre. Got lucky and snagged room 10729 on deck ten, the first Boardwalk balcony cabin overlooking the aqua theatre! Now the problem is how to contain our excitement until May of next year when we sail!

My suggestion for a BW room is as far aft as possible, you see more of the sea and the Aquatheatre. Here is a view from 12299, the 2nd or 3rd foremost BW cabin.
