princess di44 Posted October 10, 2010 #53 Share Posted October 10, 2010 On the Dream in August we took Billy. I was cruising with my DD and her two DD. So we were four women, three generations without a man;). We picked Billy because he doesn't drink, lets us spend all the money we want and never complains when we want to go shopping. Here's his picture.... that is hilarious!!!!
salty dingo Posted October 10, 2010 #54 Share Posted October 10, 2010 but is there one or two FUN items you bring with you on every cruise regardless? Jim Beam and Jose Cuervo usually cruise with me. They are lots of fun!! :D

clearwatergirl Posted October 10, 2010 #57 Share Posted October 10, 2010 Always bring a book for down time. Binoculars are already packed. Have door decorations, Mexican theme this cruise. $ for the casino, mardi gras beads for sail away party and room light decorations, large water bottles w/insulated bags to keep adult beverages cool and coozies for those aluminum beer bottles. Cruisin Christi Posted February 8, 2011 #58 Share Posted February 8, 2011 How silly would a 30yr old woman look walking around in a pair of homemade crocheted ducky slippers? My mom wants to make these for me and have me wear them so she can feel like she is on the cruise with me...I thought it was sweet but I don't know that I will wear them much. Mrs.C05 Posted February 8, 2011 #59 Share Posted February 8, 2011 On the Dream in August we took Billy. I was cruising with my DD and her two DD. So we were four women, three generations without a man;). We picked Billy because he doesn't drink, lets us spend all the money we want and never complains when we want to go shopping. Here's his picture.... This is hilarious!!! And he looks kinda mean....maybe it's the sun?;) The most FUN item I bring is my wife! Oh, sorry, she isn't an item, is she, but I would not have fun at all without her! Miss her so much here in Iraq! Can't wait to go on our "second" honeymoon cruise when I get home. Awww!! I hope you guys have a blast on your "second" honeymoon!! Fun item?Wife.:) Smart man! LOL!!! Although I'm sure my husband would say the same thing, at least he better!:D
Mrs.C05 Posted February 8, 2011 #60 Share Posted February 8, 2011 I always bring my hubby, but that's a given. The "fun" items we always bring are cash for the casino, playing cards, and ipods. This time we're bringing speakers to play it in our room when we're in there and also liquor waiting in our room. The fun item this time will be NO condoms. ;) :D
1965 Posted February 8, 2011 #61 Share Posted February 8, 2011 Not sure if this qualifies as a fun thing but I always take a small lap sized crosstitch quilt that I am working on for our granddaughter. When I give it to her I want to say I worked on it on all 7 continents. I still have 2 continents to go-Australia and Antarctica. I love the poster who put their flag in their window so can see their cabin from shore. Great idea.
Basicmike08 Posted February 8, 2011 #62 Share Posted February 8, 2011 Haha! Awesome thread! One thing I can't live without is my laptop! I use it to save space on my memory cards by transferring and viewing pictures(allows me to know if I need to retake some), music before the night starts or ends(haha), and movies as a backup for quiet nights. And a night light, I'll let you all think of the ideas why ;)
Desiree D Posted February 8, 2011 #63 Share Posted February 8, 2011 Room freshener, as it enhances the room (or bathroom), and the same scent will be a reminder of the cruise later; Same with a special perfume, will also remind me of the cruise later. Some sort of simple door decoration. A journal to keep track of each day, because I'll forget the munute details, and I love to "re-live" all the details, a fun read later, especialy on the way to our next cruise! I like collaspable boxes from the dollar store, to help organize junk, and the collasping hampers too, handy for the laundry- and will hold bags or beach stuff. The hampers will stack together in a corner....
overeasy Posted February 8, 2011 #64 Share Posted February 8, 2011 My hiking/sailing GPS. It's fun seeing where in the world we are and how fast we're going. I know some of that info is on the cabin TV too.
