I ordered mine a week ago, but have yet to see them for our 1/14 cruise. Of course the holiday boggs down the mail also.

Booked my 12/10 cruise 14 days before embarkation, thus RCI won't send those out this late. Will be begging the porters for a couple tags.

Anyone have any problems with those? I am assuming porter tags versus RCI home sent tags are pretty much the same thing.....as long as I get my clothes before I start to smell funny  in my embarkation wear, it won't make any difference which type of tag they are. ;)

No need to beg the porters for luggage tags. They'll gladly unload the bags from the vehicle, fill out the tags, place the tags on your bag, and load the bags onto the carts heading to the ship. Ofcourse this type of services has a price, which is $1-$2 dollars per bag:D. lol

Enjoy your cruise!!!!!

Gosh, and here I have been tipping them anyway with tags already in place and unloading the luggage from the back of my Jeep myself!! ;)

WOW, they "let" you unload your Jeep?! Normally they are out there waiving in cars, trying to get their fill!!! lol

Must have hit them sleeping the last time. Or could be the DH is just too fast for them when he jumps out of the Jeep before it stops rolling, trying to dump the bags as soon as possible. He knows the quicker he can unload the bags, the faster we can get on board to find out what the drink of the day is! :D

He has the bags out and to the curb faster than the porters can blink, and I am left running them down while digging in my purse to tip them before they can chase the DH off the curb!! :)

On another note....I just got my 10 night Jewel cruise for the 1/14 cruise in the mail today!!! :D

I ordered tags for two cabins on Oct 24th. One set, for the kids, arrived within 10 days. I thought the other ones went missing, but when I finally checked the envelope - both sets of tags were in there. It was surprising, because it was addressed to my son - and they had combined the two even though we couldn't link both cabins for booking shows and such online - since one was booked through a group, and the other through a travel agent. In the end - all good.

I have also done the tags at the pier. The porters had tags written up and on our bags before I could attach the pre-printed tags I was carrying. No worries!
