Elizanessie Posted January 10, 2011 #7 Share Posted January 10, 2011 Emerald That`s a new one - what is that if you compare it to todays value ? What else than Emerald wold it be ? Emerald is above Platinum but below Diamond..I don't think you have enough nights at sea to become Diamond but enough to be the new level Emerald.:)
mommabean Posted January 10, 2011 #8 Share Posted January 10, 2011 I would say you're diamond until wednesday!!! And I would say they are diamond permanently beyond Wednesday if that is what they already are on the records. That is, if they are really grandfathering in people to their current level. There would be no reason to demote them to Emerald after the change. Gina
jahcruiser5 Posted January 10, 2011 #9 Share Posted January 10, 2011 But if he's Diamond now, wouldn't he still be Diamond after the changes? Are they downgrading people?

If in fact they are going to count by days at sea. Gina

I have followng RCCL cruises 14 nights in outside cabin far east 3 nights outside cabin Bahamas 4 nighte in Royal suite Mexico 7 nights balcony cabin out from Miami 5 nights in Grand suite out from Barcelona 11 nights in Grand suite out from San Juan Were all the sailings after they gave an extra credit for 12+ nights, and extra credits for suites? Your countdown says 10 night Serenade, Your list says 11 (if that was the San Juan one). Which is it?

mommabean Posted January 10, 2011 #16 Share Posted January 10, 2011 The OP posted they are currently Platinum..not Diamond. But they said on their LAST cruise. After that cruise they seem to have gone up to 10 cruise credits and apparently they don't know how to check their current level. On their last cruise is different than after their last cruise....they said "on". Gina

Your countdown says 10 night Serenade, Your list says 11. Which is it? Under the current system, the second cruise credit doesn't kick in until 12 nights. jahcruiser5 Posted January 10, 2011 #22 Share Posted January 10, 2011 I still counted 10 cruise credits based on the signature. But, I'm new at this, so please correct me if I'm counting incorrectly. ETA: Not the signature, the list OP provided. Sorry.
tgjr Posted January 10, 2011 Author #23 Share Posted January 10, 2011 Hey Tgjr Can you clarify something please. Were you still Platinum after your last cruise? Yes I was platinum on my last seapass card. I dont manage to see my status on the RCCL homepage - I guess it is impossable for pax outside US
EVALUATOR Posted January 10, 2011 #24 Share Posted January 10, 2011 The OP posted they are currently Platinum..not Diamond. They might have been Platinum "on" the cruise and are now Diamond after the cruise. The suites and the 14 night would have to be after they were eligible for the extra credit for them to be Diamond now.
ladylawyer Posted January 10, 2011 #25 Share Posted January 10, 2011 My mistake it was ten nights....on the serenade. It doesn't matter if it's 10 or 11. As Carol mentioned, the extra credit doesn't kick in until 12-nights. By my count, taking into account your suite credits, you have 10 now and should be Diamond under the current system (which, hopefully, will make you Diamond under the new system). :D
