I also have an Excel spread sheet that you can print in advance to track how much each person won for the group. If you will give me your email address, I will forward that spread sheet.

These are always great fun.

I am trying to set up a slot pull on our cruise on the RC Freedom next month and I would love to have your excel sheet! I participated in one last month and it was really a lot of fun! My email is my handle here at yahoo.com kbd1516@yahoo.com Thank you so much!! S

I will send it to you in an email very shortly. Get back to me if you have questions..

Hi Ann,

Love all the info here. We'll be on the Emerald next month and are organizing a slot pull. My husband and one of our friends got the ball rolling and we're getting a good response. Participated in one last year, great fun and great way to get to know your fellow CC members better.

Could you email me the spreadsheet at: philandbarb@comcast.net

Thanks!!

Barbara

Hi Ann,

I am attempting to organize our slot pull on the Sapphire this summer and would LOVE the famous 'Ann Spread Sheet' :) Please email it: AngieTaylor1@cox.net if you are still in the emailin' mood, after sending this spreadsheet to so many CC members (thank you! thank you! thank YOU!).

I participated in my 1st slot pull in DEC on Celebrity Silhouette and it was so much fun! We each brought a $10 and a $5 and received 7 pulls. Sadly, we allowed the casino mgr to select our machine and it did not ever hit more than $10! (Progressive type of a machine). I definitely think that a 'surprise approach' to the casino and the selected machine, is the way to go.:D

We also did a cabin crawl which was really fun and allowed us to get to know our CC roll call members a bit better. I am organizing this, as well, on our Sapphire Princess cruise.

Thank YOU, for sending along the Excel spreadsheet, when you have a chance.

Angie in San Diego (your neighbor to the south!)

Let me know if you have questions after you receive it.

Hi Anne,

Thank you so much for sending. We did two slot pulls on the Crown Princess transatlantic last year and it was a blast. The only hitch was getting enough small bills to pay out everyone the correct amount. Everyone was good about it and we were able to make it work. I agree that the surprize approach is the best. Dazzle them with numbers :)

Thanks again.

Good luck to all the slot pull participants.

Karen,

Glad you received the email. Here is another hint for everyone.

Slot Pull Hint:

As organizer, take a small calculator with you also. then take the total money won and divide by the # of particpates. Remember, you are not going to pay back the cents; just whole dollars. Then I went to the Casino Cashier and asked for a certain number of piles of money. If each person was to get back $23, I asked for 75 (#of people who were in the Slot Pull - include yourself too) piles of money; each with a $20 bill and 3 one dollar bills. Then you can pay off right away. The Casino should have all that money right there at the cage. This takes some time but trust me, everyone will wait for you.

Ann, would you please send me a copy of your spreadsheet? We are having a slot pull (probably two) during our cruise around the Horn in mid February.

Thanks very much.

Hi Ann, could you please send me your spreadsheet too? So glad to find all the info on this thread about slot pulls, invaluable. We are having a slot put this April on our TA on the Silhouette, what great timing.

Thanks,

And if you advise a casino manager in advance and he helps select the machine, don't you think that he is going to persuade you to a machine that has the lowest odds of paying out, or that the machine he suggests will be tightened up a little bit more than usual and lower the odds of paying out??? Just saying.

EXACTLY I think you should pick the machine you want, when we did it someone coordinated with the casino mgr and we didn't get free drinks or anything, just a losing machine!:)
