Rare LHT28 Posted January 16, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 16, 2011 Maybe they were training the staff or it was for a photo shoot
StanandJim Posted January 16, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 16, 2011 Maybe they were training the staff or it was for a photo shoot They are training the staff, and most of them are already living aboard. Getting the kitchens geared up to serve 6000 meals per day doesn't just happen overnight. As long as they have that big beautiful dining room just stiing empty; why not use it? Rare WesW Posted January 18, 2011 Author #9 Share Posted January 18, 2011 Three days to go: http://www.oceaniacruisesblog.com/taste/ bittersweet to see these wonderful images (thanks President of Oceania!) as eight months ago we received an extraordinarily generous invitation from Oceania to join them on the Marina Shakedown cruise (Genoa to Barcelona, today-21 Jan). Today and for the next few days, we would be enjoying the wonderful food in Jacques, GDR, Toscana, et.al; enjoying the Marina's stunning public spaces and most importantly experiencing the super teamwork of the Marina crew. Alas, in early November we had to decline our once in a cruise lifetime invitation to attend the Marina Shakedown cruise due to a minor medical procedure I am now undergoing.
