Canalettos

We're taking our first HAL cruise on the NA and I'm wondering how to make reservations for Canalettos. I've made reservations online for the other two

speciality restaurants. Obviously I go somewhere once inboard...but where?

If you are in a Suite and have access to the Neptune Lounge, the concierges there can handle reservastions. Or, you can go to the Lido, where a staffer with a laptop will set up and make reservations.

Canalettos is in a corner of the Lido Restaurant. There is a Podium where you can make reservations. He's there later in the afternoon. You can also call from your cabin to make reservations. It seems to me there was frequently space, so you can also be a 'walk in'.

We were also able to make reservations on embarkation day, just outside the main dining room. Did this right after we had lunch in the main dining room.

on our nieuw amsterdam cruises there was a podium in the hallway outside the lido -- where the glass elevators are located -- it is on port side -- opens each morning at 8 am for reservations

There is a reservations podium either right outside or inside the Lido. I believe you can also make Canaletto reservations by calling the dining reservations line.

I'm not sure about other ships, but on the Westerdam you can dial #88 from your stateroom phone to make a Canaletto reservation. :)
