Where in NY for CP

Could someone tell me where in NY the Caribbean Princess docks for a May 26th departure. Brooklyn? Manhatten?

The New York Cruise Terminal calendar has the Caribbean Princess departing from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal on May 26th.

In general, home-ported Princess ships will always depart from Red Hook in Brooklyn. One exception is if the Queen Mary 2 is in town, then Princess ships will dock in Manhattan. And Princess ships just calling on New York will most likely dock in Manhattan.

The Carib. Princess is supposed to be there in Red Hook, Borough of Brooklyn, NYC, NY at Pier 12 for ya.after its last Port of call in Newport, R.I. where your (D-MA) US Sen. Kerry keeps his Yachts for Tax Benefits;)

 

The Pier was an old US Navy Pier then used as the NYC Road Salt dock. It is across from Gov.'s Island now part of the National park System http://www.nps.gov which was the first settlement by Europeans here.

Red Hook most of the time, unless another ship is in Red Hook then they dock in Manhattan, and usually when the Dawn/Sun Princess is on there World Cruise they stop at Manhattan

FYI-CP is Sea Princess,CB is Caribbean Princess!

I was somewhat surprised by that, too. I have no idea what that has to do with anything.

 

I'm going out of NYC on 8/20 and assumed it would be Red Hook like last year. When do they get around to telling you if it isn't?
