foxesden1 Posted June 6, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 6, 2011 What the heck does That mean? We are booked on the Brilliance of the seas out of San Juan in 2013. Will charges on board Be in US finds? Or UK pounds? sorry I'd that is a silly question, but big change to our budget..
aurelius180 Posted June 6, 2011 #5 Share Posted June 6, 2011 Most cruise ships aren't incorporated in the US. The transfer of these ships to UK is simply to take advantage of their tonnage tax and the intention to do so was mentioned in RCI's annual report. BMT Posted June 6, 2011 #6 Share Posted June 6, 2011 Brilliance was always operated the same as their other ships.

Even DCL's ships are held by a British subsidiary. Keeps tax $$ out of the U.S. IRS' sticky fingers:D
