39august Posted June 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2011 I have searched the "sticky" thread, but this question was not addressed in the searches for SS2 2114. So can anyone tell me where the pole is located in that suite, please?
cruisnuts Posted June 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2011 I have searched the "sticky" thread, but this question was not addressed in the searches for SS2 2114. simon stingray Posted June 9, 2011 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2011 If you're referring to S2 Sky Suites on Solstice class ships then I don't think there is a pole. AFAIK the poles are in the aft corner S1 Sky Suites. Somebody tell me if I'm wrong.
39august Posted June 9, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted June 9, 2011 On a "sticky" comment about a different SS2 number, it was noted that there was a pole, I believe it said close to the bed. So apparently some of the SS2's have a pole. cruisenuts, 2112 is not a Sky Suite, therefore, no pole concerns!

A little off topic but this was discussed way in the past. http://cruiseclues.com/galaxy/stateroompole.htm

Orator Posted June 9, 2011 #13 Share Posted June 9, 2011 The pole in S1 corner aft cabins is located near the foot of the bed. The bed is in the center of the cabin. Really doesn't get in the way.

Orator Posted June 9, 2011 #17 Share Posted June 9, 2011 So what is better, pole by the bathroom or pole by the balcony? Doesn't matter as long as I'm in an S1 on a Celebrity S Class ship :)
dkjretired Posted June 9, 2011 #18 Share Posted June 9, 2011 Will somebody explain what this thread is all about............. . There was a recent thread wherein a poster asked about some type of suite on one of the ships that had a pole. Apparently it is quite intrusive and the person wanted to avoid that suite. TxTravelTeam Posted June 9, 2011 #22 Share Posted June 9, 2011 If they have a passport. My question is can my clone get a passport? You don't need a passport for your cologne. Just make sure you check it if it's over 3 ounces.
