I think it was about 2 years ago. RCI is supposed to have a policy to move them around every 3-5 years.

I could go to the spreadsheet and put in all the 10 week rotation dates to figure it out...but then I'd have to delete it all and I don't want to mess up TPKellers wonderful program.

Here's upcoming for Quantum:

 

Capt Srecko leaves today at noon and returns in March. Capt. Gus will be on board for 10 weeks beginning today. His replacement is Henrik Sorensen who will do just a few weeks until joining the regular 10 week rotation after Capt. Srecko's next 10 weeks. Capt. Gus of course will join Anthem.

You can always add in data, then just be careful to NOT save the spreadsheet when you exit. All will return to the previous state the next time you open it.

 

Of course, this far out, one is just as likely to be accurate by taking a year calendar and counting weeks. The little errors you get at the beginning and end of each rotation could easily skew large enough by that far ahead to not be very reliable anyway.

He switched to Liberty in May this year and Captain Loy replaced him on Independence.

I believe that Captain Karin was Master on Monarch at one time, sister to Majesty. Maybe she likes smaller ships.

yes the captain was born in Poland ..... has very good educational background and a lot of experience on ships and cruise ships.

His first name is Krzysztof and his last name is Szynkarczuk. Your source might have the wrong spelling of his name which is not unusual ...... when we dined with him and the ship's photographer took the picture of him and the dinner participants and they printed the pictures which were presented to us ..... the captain's name was badly misspelled on the pictures.

The captain is really a nice and very knowledeable person.

 

There is also another captain that was born and educated in Poland, his name is a lot easier for most people - Marek Slaby.

I have not seen him ..... but some ladies mentioned that he is a very handsome man, has a good voice , sings and plays guitar and is very aprochable on board ....... seems like has the right ingredients to be popular ....... and he also has planty experience in sailing cargo and cruise ships. Seems that Royal knows how to pick their captains.

I miss Captain Olav when he was on the Explorer, the ship he ended his impressive career on. What a man! He will always be my favorite, if it wasn't for him, I probably would have never sailed on Royal Caribbean, and now I swear by them! I hope he's doing well in his retirement.

Y'all are forgetting that Capt Karin was master on Serenade for something like 4 years...rotating duties with Capt Michel

Claus is headed for the Anthem, and rumors are flying about who will replace him on the NV.

 

I cannot and won't speculate who will replace him.

 

On a side note, Raffaele Bernardini, who is the new Hotel Director on the NV is an excellent replacement, and is almost as much fun as Robert Taggert. He knows that he has huge shoes to fill, and he was loved when he held the same job with Celebrity.

 

I'm also very excited to see that Michael Bailey is heading up Royal Caribbean. I believe we will see some changes that will bring back some of the things that Jack Williams introduced, with his own spin.
