Thank you all so much for your kind words about my review...

 

 

 

What was wrong with the boat? We sail out next Thursday so hopefully they fixed whatever it is.

 

Im not sure, but it took them a while to fix...and since it is going into dry dock right after our cruise, Im sure they addressed it!!

Day 3, Fun day at sea

We woke up and went to breakfast. It was good although I could not find the omelette station but no such luck...I did the next few days though.

 

 

We hung out on the Lido deck for a while, then I went to pay 1/2 price bingo :(

Then I participated in the Digital Scavenger Hunt.

I was a team of 1 as Chelsi meet some guy and was hanging out with him and my sis did not want to participate...Here are some pic from the hunt

Then there was a list of countries and we had to get someone to sign from the crew those countries and we had to tell her which countries they were from :rolleyes:

All in all I got 9 of the items and the winner got 11...so I got a medal and no ship on the stick:(

We hung out some more after lunch then it was time to get ready for elegant night/captions celebration.

 

Now the celebration was healed on the main deck 3 near the shops, No drinks and it wasn't very crowed when we went. Unlike Conquest in 09 when there were drinks and lots of people.

 

We met the Captain and his crew also CD TEX was there... We took pic, which are on my sis camera :(

 

We also took pic with the ship. My daughter thought it was her own personal photo shoot LOL I ended up with 77.00 in pic and she also bought one too...

I will scan those and post them later

OMG you should have seen her face...it was priceless...We did not know that the waiter was going to pour the "soup" in AFTER he placed the bowl in front of her LOL...she thought that was all she was getting LOL

EVERYONE at our table laughed at this. It was so funny!!

Now, since this was Chelsi's sweet sixteen B-day present, I had ordered a cake from Bon Voyage and it was delivered to the table..

 

I had my sis to sneak and ask him if it would be tonight and she did. He said he would bring it out during dessert. It was YUMMM too!!

 

He did it SO Quick I almost missed it

I did a video I was able to get of the waiters and our table singing to her. The waiter made a bow out of the napkin and placed it on her head...Priceless...

Now let me say about dinner. The food was wonderful. I had Lobster/shrimp, Chel had stake and my sis Chicken (again).

 

The waiter's name was Juanito, but I did not remember his assistants name..

However, thy both rememberd our names and called us by it EVERY night...I was impressed really...they were super sweet really

After dinner, we went to change and went watched the show Wonderful World

It was nice...my fab part was the singing for Michael Jackson's Earth Song...It was amazing...They did songs/ dances from different parts of the world. I must say this show amazing really!!

 

We then went to the 50's/60's Motown in the dance club...that was fun.

Then we went to watch Close Up Magic show...he was really good too..

 

Chel went with us but then she left early to go to club 02 NEON party and was back in the room by 1am as planned :)

 

We turned in after the show so that we would be ready for our first port of call

Progreso :)

 

I'll post more on Monday as I will be out of town this weekend...

Day 4 Progreso, Mexico

 

I woke up early and put on my robe and went down to deck 5 to look out. We were docked but I could not see much because of the side of the ship the windows were on. I went back to the room and my sister was up so we let Chel sleep in and we went to have breakfast. I found the Omelette station...YUMM

We went back to the room to get dressed. Chelsi was up. We all went down for her to get something to eat then we were off to Progreso. We were dressed for the beach as we read here on CC that there was a free beach. The drive to the pier was on a bus that you got to once you went through the shopping area. DD bought a purse to carry her things in. She also wanted a bracelet with her name on it. They were about 15.00 or so, so we decided to wait on that.
