tropicbird Posted November 25, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2011 How can I tell which dates are scheduled to have more than one ship docked at Labadee? I believe with Navigator's new Caribbean sailings that she overlaps with another ship on some weeks? How can I tell when this happens? Specifically we are scheduled to leave tomorrow on Navigator and I want to see if we will have Labadee to ourselves or if we have to share in the sandbox :-) I cannot find a site that shows where Explorer is now... I do see that she sails from NJ on 12/1, so I don't think there is any conflict with her (which is the case in January I believe) but what about other ships? Thanks!! English_in_Spain Posted November 25, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 25, 2011 The best, and most reliable, way to find out is to look through the cruises on RCI's website. There are external websites which, allegedly, tell you which ships are in which port on any given day but they are so incorrect that, IMHO, they are better avoided. rwdnj Posted November 25, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 25, 2011 Depends on what day your there. Mon, Oasis. Tues, Freedom. Fri, Enchantment
tropicbird Posted November 25, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted November 25, 2011 Thanks! We are there on Friday, so that would make it Enchantment. While I'd rather it be just us, I'll take a smaller Vision over an Eagle anyday! Thanks again...
Rare Terre Posted November 25, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 25, 2011 Click on this link: http://cruisett.com/ports.php and then choose your port of call and the month you are going. Click on that and the calendar will tell you which ships are there on any particular day in the month. For instance if I click on Juneau under Alaska and then choose June, the calendar will tell me what ships are there on each day in June. This site has always been accurate for us. Topo Gigio Posted November 25, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 25, 2011 In St.Maarten together with Silver Spirit, Norwegian Epic and Grand Princess. No other ships in St.Kitts and San Juan and In Labadee you will have to share the pier with Enchantment.
JR_Angus Posted November 25, 2011 #7 Share Posted November 25, 2011 We are on RCCL's Navigator of the Seas, 6 day Western Caribbean Feb 2012 ; did a search (http://cruisett.com/ports.php) using the ship's name, the results showed the ship as being in the Mediterranean Sea. Searched using the Caribbean ports we will be calling at and Navigator not shown.

negc Posted November 25, 2011 #9 Share Posted November 25, 2011 I checked this site for my Navigator cruise next month and it does not show Navigator at any of my ports. I tried http://www.cruisereport.com/PortsOfCall.aspx?port=884 and it is included. That is frequently a problem with sites of this type which aren't always updated regularly or which don't have complete and up to date information. We have often arrived in a port to find two or three ships that weren't listed on a website that purported to list all the ships in port on a given day.:)

This website is very inaccurate. It does not cover all cruise lines. Of those it does cover it is often incorrect. For example, I have compared HAL/Carnival cruises at Half Moon Cay with the cruise lines actual cruises. It shows several occasions when Carnival and HAL ships are both there. This never happens. I have also looked at my local cruise port of Alicante and it doesn't show half the cruise ships that call there. Those it does give are often wrong. rncruiser Posted November 25, 2011 #11 Share Posted November 25, 2011 The best, and most reliable, way to find out is to look through the cruises on RCI's website. Celebrity ships also go to Labadee, so that web site would need to be checked as well.
Topo Gigio Posted November 25, 2011 #12 Share Posted November 25, 2011 Go to http://www.cruisecal.com and click on Itinerary lookup. This is the only free service from this site. Members have to pay $24.99 anually, so it's 99.9% accurate.
