My Wet Ones packages are just in my purse no bags..never a problem ;)

Hand sanitizer needs to be in the 3-1-1 bag but the wet ones wrapped individually do not and can go in purse or carry on.

Items like Wet Ones, Makeup remover towelettes, baby wipes, etc. don't need to be in the 3-1-1. My experience is that if you have a one ounce bottle of hand sanitizer attached to your tote, they don't really care that it's not in your 3-1-1, but YMMV.

This is true for every airport I've ever been through but ones in Canada. Put it in your 3-1-1 there, unless you like being pulled out of line and going through a pat-down.

I put a 2 ounce bottle of Purell in my 3:1:1 bag and have some COSTCO Sani-Hands single tissue packets tucked in purse and carry on with no problems.

 

If I have a checked bag, it will have a couple more 2 ounce bottles of Purell.

 

So far so good.

This is really simple. Put the hand sanitizer in the 3-1-1 bag. It's much easier to comply with the instructions and this is not rocket science.

True...since the zip-loc is only needed for carry-on stuff....it's right there! You can take it out of the bag after you go thru security!

As others have said, the hand sanitizer goes in the 3-1-1 bag.

I travel with Lysol wipes, and I have a small container that also goes into the bag. The US people laughed, the Canadians told me they appreciated me being so thorough. I tend to err on the side of caution, with two little kids I don't want to give security any reason to pull me aside.
