O2B@C Posted December 8, 2011 #26 Share Posted December 8, 2011 Wow! Thanks for going to the trouble of taking and posting all those photos. My mouth is watering - there are some great-sounding concoctions on there!
jkrislc Posted December 8, 2011 #27 Share Posted December 8, 2011 The new menus are making me thirsty. :) I don't drink very often, but I like to indulge in a nightly cocktail while on vacation. I saw several on the new menus I'd like to try. Thanks for posting them for us. It is much appreciated.

thetexasaggiecruiser Posted December 8, 2011 #30 Share Posted December 8, 2011 Thanks so much for posting these - we will be on the Noordam in a few weeks and had wondered about bar prices. Overall, the prices are more reasonable across the board than most places in Austin, and the wine prices were as expected. Hope you have a wonderful cruise! slstauber Posted December 31, 2011 #31 Share Posted December 31, 2011 Thank you. I was on RC last week on the Explorer and their drinks are $2.00 more. I paid $8.95 for a Manhatten. Next week I will be on the Amsterdam for a back to back and glad to see HAL still has the class not to take advantage of people. I had done RC last year, same cruise, and it wasn't that bad. But this year EVERYTHING went down hill. NEVER again.

You did a great job with the pictures IMO:) I still haven't even figured out how to post a pic on cc:) Looks like a beverage card will be worthwhile for some:)

Krazy Kruizers Posted December 31, 2011 Author #36 Share Posted December 31, 2011 Thanks so much for posting this KK. You did a great job with the pictures IMO:) I still haven't even figured out how to post a pic on cc:) Looks like a beverage card will be worthwhile for some:) I tried resizing photos to meet CC guidelines but kept getting error messages. Several others have had the same problem. So I just gave up and joined Photobucket and then just copy and paste my pictures here. Most times they take. cobalt206 Posted December 31, 2011 #37 Share Posted December 31, 2011 Thank you for taking the time to post KK. The list looks very compelling, however the wine list confirms I will be going to Total Wine in FLL to bring aboard a better personal selection. The drink prices seem fairly reasonable. terkatz56 Posted January 1, 2012 #38 Share Posted January 1, 2012 out of curiosity...are the blended drinks made individually or do they have the slushie type machines...like for margaritas??? I know sometimes bars by the pool have the machines because there is a higher demand for them there... just looked at the menu again...and figure from the variety of beverages, I am guessing they are all made fresh. On our Dec sailing on the Noordam, the blended drinks were all made individually. Mixology class (generally offered on sea days) is a great way to mingle and taste some of the new drinks they have introduced.
Krazy Kruizers Posted January 1, 2012 Author #39 Share Posted January 1, 2012 There is also a new wine list for the dining -- I only noticed 2 changes from the old list -- and prices on the bottles of wine did not go up. I have the list but have not had time to write it up.
mamaofami Posted January 2, 2012 #40 Share Posted January 2, 2012 KK, is your dining room wine list specific only to Noordam?

Sir PMP Posted February 1, 2012 #45 Share Posted February 1, 2012 the prices of the daily drink and the speciality drinks having gone up a little. Thanks a lot for letting us know, now my bar bill will be another $100 more....
NoobCruise Posted March 27, 2012 #46 Share Posted March 27, 2012 Now I want a drink lol It's nice to know the drink prices are comparable to what I'd pay here in a restaurant or bar, maybe even cheaper. It also looks like if you drink a lot, you can save money ordering the alcohol for your cabin too. We don't drink much, but I'm looking forward to drinks on our balcony :)
