TWG_ag Posted December 31, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2011 Looking at the Baltic Stockholm to Southampton in August. Does anyone know the hotel Regent uses in Stockholm for Pre-cruise night. Thanks.
Rare RachelG Posted January 1, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2012 Several years ago, it was the Hilton. We did our own hotel arrangements and were staying there using points, but regent had a hospitality desk set up.
rallydave Posted January 1, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 1, 2012 Several years ago, it was the Hilton. We did our own hotel arrangements and were staying there using points, but regent had a hospitality desk set up. It was that Hilton in 2009 within walking distance of the old town with a nice restaurant on the corner, The Green Door, I believe. Recommend it highly. We stayed there on points as well and utilized the hospitality desk. Took a taxi to the ship, quick and relatively inexpensive for Stockholm. The taxi took credit cards. Have a great cruise. Travelcat2 Posted January 1, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 1, 2012 From what I can see they use the Radisson Blu Sky City or the Scandic Park for "Standard" passengers and Sheraton Stockholm Hotel or Scandic Grand Central for "Premium" passengers. ChatKat in Ca. Posted January 1, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 1, 2012 From what I can see they use the Radisson Blu Sky City or the Scandic Park for "Standard" passengers and Sheraton Stockholm Hotel or Scandic Grand Central for "Premium" passengers. We used points to stay at the Sheraton a few years ago. Lovely hotel. Very clean and modern. Close to the Gamla Stan. Highly recommend it. The Grand Hotel is a must see. Two blocks from the Sheraton. Great Smorgasbord

alidor Posted January 1, 2012 #7 Share Posted January 1, 2012 We did the Baltic on Regent 2 years ago and then they were using the Grand Hotel which is absolutely wonderful. It's old world Europe and just charming. The lobby is quite small but we loved the excellent location, the history and the old world graciousness. For those with miles and points, it's part of the Intercontinental/Holiday Inn chain so check to see if you can use your points for your stay here.
