W2Me Posted June 29, 2012 #4 Share Posted June 29, 2012 We just got back from the NatGeo trip and it was outstanding. 48 passengers, with one naturalist per 12 passengers. amazing experience with regard to the islands, the kind and diversity of animal encounters. I cant imagine going there with a ton of people on a regular cruise line. I snorkeled with hammerhead sharks, for example. and penguins, and sea lions -- and sea turtles. just stunning. cruzsnooze Posted July 7, 2012 #6 Share Posted July 7, 2012 Celebrity xpedition is a very small ship, we had 59 people on our sailing. It was fabulous. I did the nat geo explorer ( artic) and would definatly favor the Xpedition for service, food and ambiance.
