amsterdam to rotterdam

Does anyone have any experience with transfers from amsterdam to rotterdam. With luggage I suppose the most convenient way is to hire a limo.

Much depends on your definition of "with luggage". Have not made this trip myself, but there is a train station right at Schiphol. You could determine schedules/fares from the NS website. Travel times are as short as 27 minutes to Rotterdam Centraal.

Certain times of the day traffic can be heavy between Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Have you considered the train?

Train from AMS/Schiphol Airport to Rotterdam CS (Centraal Station); then grab a taxi for the last couple of km from the station to the dock. Trains are fast (2-3x as fast as driving in rush hour) and inexpensive.

Indeed train is o.k., but you have to put luggage into/from the train yourself and storage is very limited. Stay with it at all times.

Also you need a cab to get from the station to the cruiseterminal.
