Allure was beautiful tonight as always. She pushed off the dock at exactly five PM. No container ships stood in her way tonight.

I saw Allure come in this morning and she was so lovely with her lights sparkling in the early dawn.

Til next week:):)

Til next week:):)

I should be home in time next week. Next weekend I'm taking certification dives in a quarry here in Ohio so I can give in St Thomas when on Allure next year.

Morning Bill ~ some sad ones :( :( who just got off of Allure but happy :) :) because they made an early flight home lol Gotta love the great disembarkation the Oasis class sisters have.

On that note, I have to share a photo of my wife as we were preparing to leave Allure after a great week. She tried to look sad, but couldn't. This was 7am, getting ready to leave the room for the last time.

We are in Fort lauderdale waiting to cruise on Allure on Sunday. I wanted to watch Oasis sail tomorrow, live instead of on my laptop! Where is the best place to view it from?

I like to watch the ships from the rocks at the end of the beach just at the entrance to the inlet. Here is a photo of the rocks. On this thread post # 434, 435, 436 a poster gave directions on how to get to this location. Other posters may have some other suggestions :)

Here are a few other photos of the area.

In this photo you can see the ship leaving the dock and coming towards the rock area.

Rob ~ if you go to those posts I mentioned the poster actually provided a map in one of the posts. If you need more info you know where to find me :)

I should have just linked the posts here.

Oh my goodness! You captured us! Thank you!

The people on the deck above and below us thought we were crazy for waving so much! We had so much fun! Thank you for this photo. I can't wait to show my daughter when she wakes up!

And she sails into the sunset......

Unfortunately the clarity was very bad this time and I had a hard time picking out individuals. Have a great time on your cruise, newcrew42.:)

Thank you! We had an awesome time!

As always it was great fun to watch Oasis sail away. I did enjoy the cargo ship (MSC Catania), because the close ups of the three hard-working tugs pulling and pushing the ship were so interesting.

I was really wishing I could be on Oasis. Everyone was cheering and seemed to be in a very festive mood. I was imagining what I would be doing if I were on that great, fun ship. Oh well, tomorrow I can relive the whole thing again watching Allure--my very favorite ship--sail away.

Where are my manners? New Crew Two--have a fabulous, wonderful cruise.

Thank you! It was wonderful.
