Very good news, thanks for sharing this. We recently booked a b2b2b, three separate cruises for Feb/March 2013 and were of course hoping that that we would be able to use our stock benefit (x3!). Very good news indeed! m--

I was hoping that Carnival would continue the OBC. I was pretty sure they would but you never know.

I appreciate the info, as well as the CCL report. I guess I need to get my financial guy to get me a current statement specifically showing ownership, not just the purchase receipt from a number of years ago.;)

I just send a copy of my monthly statement from my brokerage company (only the portion showing my CLL stock). Works out fine.

CCL stock, with it's dividends and that OBC twice a year, gave me a return of just over 35% last year. Yes, I bought it at $17 - but even at today's price of $30, the return is nearly 20% if you cruise twice a year for 10 days or more. It's the only stock I ever bought strictly due to the benefits of ownership ... and it's turned out to be an all around winner.

 

I don't think we stockholders could be more pleased. Thank you CCL !!!
