paul929207 Posted March 11, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 11, 2012 I believe that RCI prohibits carrying beverages onboard, but you should check their section of these boards

cb at sea Posted March 11, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 11, 2012 Do you mean IN YOUR HAND...sure, they'll probably allow that....or do you mean, BOTTLES OF WINE OR LIQUOR? If it's the latter, it's not allowed.
Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted March 11, 2012 #6 Share Posted March 11, 2012 Do you mean IN YOUR HAND...sure, they'll probably allow that....or do you mean, BOTTLES OF WINE OR LIQUOR? If it's the latter, it's not allowed. My son had a plastic bottle filled with iced tea in his hand when we went to check into Freedom of the Seas. He was told to dump the liquid before we could enter. Strangely enough, he was allowed to keep the empty plastic bottle, just not have any liquid in it. That was just three weeks ago. The policy might vary from ship to ship. Water might be allowed; I don't know.
leaveitallbehind Posted March 11, 2012 #7 Share Posted March 11, 2012 Hi All,We are travelling on B2B on Brilliance of the Seas from Rome in May. Can we bring drink on board when we board in Rome? Sorry if this was answered before!! :o From the RCI website: Guests are not allowed to bring alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages onboard for consumption or any other use. Alcoholic beverages that are purchased in ports-of-call or from Shops On Board will be stored by the ship and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of the sailing. Alcoholic beverages seized on embarkation day will not be returned. Security may inspect containers (water bottles, soda bottles, mouthwash, luggage etc.) and will dispose of containers holding alcohol. Guests who violate any alcohol policies, (over consume, provide alcohol to people under age 21, demonstrate irresponsible behavior, or attempt to conceal alcoholic items at security and or luggage check points or any other time), may be disembarked or not allowed to board, at their own expense, in accordance with our Guest Conduct Policy. Guests who are under the permitted drinking age will not have alcohol returned to them.
