Yacht "Helios" boarded by USCG

I just happened to check the webcam and saw that 5-6 agents boarded the ship in the middle of the harbor. They were onboard for 25-30 minutes before the yacht went to her berth. The webcam stayed on her the whole time.....just about an hour now since I first came across it. I guess they were searching for contraband.

I don't know if it's still done this way, but my husband was in the Coast Guard in the late 80s early 90s and they occasionally do random boardings just to check for safety compliance, check # of life jackets on board, fire extinguishers etc.

However, if there's a suspicious vessel or one they believe to have contraband, they use the "safety check" to get on board.
