JimandStan Posted April 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2012 All of this talk about Holland America has reminded me that when we were sailing with them, the "old salts" who were going to lift a few, always started with: "It is Good to be in a Well Run Ship", which was the HAL advertising slogan for many years Well, those ships stopped being so well run (thank you, Carnival), so we switched over to Oceania. Unfortunately, as a toast, their slogan just doesn't work for me.... Any suggestions? You guys (and girls) never let me down.
Rare What A Market Posted April 19, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2012 How about: "Chart Your Course...... Oceania Cruises" Or "Chart a New Course...... Oceania Cruises" I like the culinary nod and therefore the tie in to one of Oceania's best attributes -- it's commitment to food!

cbb Posted April 19, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 19, 2012 "At home... on the sea" and cruise line song could be "Beyond the Sea" (old Bobby Darin song) or "I'll be seeing you" I always enjoyed Crystal's song as we pulled out of port and heard Disney's as they left. Balloon Man Posted April 19, 2012 #8 Share Posted April 19, 2012 My vote also goes with hondoner. I did have an idea of my own, but decided that "bottoms up" was perhaps not appropriate in the circumstances :o

Imagineer Posted April 19, 2012 #11 Share Posted April 19, 2012 These days -- "Our ships don't sink or catch fire" ...LOL, that's definitely a catchy theme right now...! I guess O could try to say, "Your world, the safe way"...even though they've had a few incidents with their generators in the recent past... ...still, I would set sail on any Oceania ship and feel quite at ease, I think they're one of the classiest acts afloat today... cheers, the Imagineer

Brought back memories of the Poseidon Adventure. But, I agree, maybe not the best one on board any ship...;)
