moonhunter Posted April 17, 2014 #101 Share Posted April 17, 2014 One thing I didn't know until our last cruise is that any drink that is offered on at a discount on any night is available on any night. So on Rob Roy night I can have a Mojito or a Cosmo.

cdr1 Posted April 17, 2014 #103 Share Posted April 17, 2014 We are elite and will be traveling with a couple who will be on their first cruise. Will we be able to use this perk with them a few times? Enjoyed it on our last cruise in Dec.
WmFCoyote Posted April 17, 2014 #104 Share Posted April 17, 2014 (edited) Yes, you each may bring a guest into the elite lounge. Edited April 17, 2014 by WmFCoyote

Several people asked for different drinks rather than the special of the day and were informed by different waiters that they would not get the special price. Lilly'sMom Posted April 25, 2014 #107 Share Posted April 25, 2014 It is pretty much open to anyone who shows up. Usually there is just a sign on a table somewhere that says elite lounge. If there is someone there just tell them you are in a suite as you walk in. REALLY?????
Colo Cruiser Posted April 25, 2014 #108 Share Posted April 25, 2014 REALLY????? Just adds to the already congested atmosphere. :(
Lilly'sMom Posted April 25, 2014 #109 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Just adds to the already congested atmosphere. :( This will be our first time going - we are finally Platinum! Yay! Hope its not too crowded. Really looking forward to it. Hope they have it in Sky Walkers - we love going up there. :D

Did they ask for "any" drink or one of the featured drinks that are rotated? :) It's been my experience that you can order any of the drinks on the invitation even if it's not the day for that drink. We tried that onboard the Ruby in February and were told no, that it only applied to that day's drink. Maybe it was our waiter? Mike:)

Mike:) Mike - we were on the Ruby in February too (2/1 -2/9) and I had no trouble getting a different drink of the day (I like the margarita or the brezza marina :D) so maybe it was the waiter. Yes, we were on the same B2B and will be cruising together again in October.:D Next time I will keep asking until I get the right answer. Thanks for letting me know. Rare geoherb Posted April 25, 2014 #114 Share Posted April 25, 2014 When they had a drink of the day I did not care for, I ordered a gin and tonic. It was only 65 cents more.
MGnut Posted April 25, 2014 #115 Share Posted April 25, 2014 That is why you say you are in suite. Those cards look just like all the other ones. Just passing on to others another way to cheat? :(
bhopal21 Posted April 25, 2014 #116 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Just passing on to others another way to cheat? :( As others have stated, now the cards state SUITE directly under the muster station in the top RH corner. Mike:)

AndyTheK Posted April 26, 2014 #120 Share Posted April 26, 2014 Oh [pshaw]! What a [goodness gracious] bummer... We're on the Emerald in a few weeks for 28 days B2B and I like only one of the special drinks. Shalom, Andy.
D'Shadow Posted April 26, 2014 #121 Share Posted April 26, 2014 This function is held in the new ONE 5 lounge on the Grand. We did a b2b in March on the Grand. For the Mexican Riviera cruise it was held in the Vista due to the number of guests that were eligible. For the Coastal Cruise, it was held in the One 5. I always order the Cosmo, which is usually the drink of the day 1st night. I could be wrong, but I think I've always gotten it at the reduced price. (DH signs the bill. LOL.)
