Direct from the manager at Navigators Portofinos

We just got off the Navigator two weeks ago and were talking to the manager at Portofinos. He said that when Navigator goes into dry dock, Portofino is going to be replaced with an upscale Rita's Cantina. Has anyone else heard this

one? Anybody going on Navigator soon who could confirm?

According to this- http://www.creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/General_Info/Flyers/12028421_Revit_QuickReference_Guide.pdf Portofino is being converted to a Giovanni's Table, as has been done on Mariner.

Giovanni's on Mariner is fantastic. Best food and service we've had on any ship.

Darn, we haven't tried Giovanni's, but we love Portofino. I'll be sad to see it phased out.

We LOVE Portofinos so we are sad to see it go but all the reviews of Giovanni's table is that its excellent and I think more casual. We will look forward to trying it sometime.

Giovannis by far more popular than Rita's. I'd say they are going with the stated Giovanni's plan ;)
