For recent Equinox cruisers in the Med.

Could you please tell me what time the evening shows start. Is it in two sessions timed with dining or just the one time per evening?

What is the solarium pool like if the weather is very hot?

Any other tips are welcome too:D

The equinox pools are refreshing. On my Med cruise, I spent the two sea days in the solarium. It is very relaxing. Pool is a lap pool.

Never went to a show because we had second seating which started at 8:30 in MDR. the shows are timed for after early seating and before late seating in MDR. We went after dinner to a lounge and heard music by different groups, then bed, early breadkfast and a long day in the next port of call.

You are on a great ship, in a beautiful part of the world, enjoy.:)

Thank you for the reply. Happily we have first seating, so that should be working out okay. And great to hear that the solarium pool is not too hot apparently.

Hi, I was on Equinox on May and it was fabulous:)

You might have early seating but just take into consideration the

itinerary is very port intensive and the days can be long. So by

the time you finish dinner? You might not realize how tired you

are until after you finish eating;)

I only made 1 show the entire cruise.

Yes, I am aware of that. But I am going with my elderly mother who does not like ruins and the like. Plus she can not walk for long period of times in the heat, so envisage that we would be more on board then others. Plus she absolutely loves the shows.

But next year I am going to do exactly the same itinerary. That one will be super intensive, because will be going with hubby and he will want to see about everything! So I'm a lucky girl will get to experience the Med both ways:D

We saw the 2nd night's show mostly because it was a sea day and we had rested up from our 2 days in Rome by then...but that's it....oh...but it was such a wonderful cruise.....have you booked another in the Med yet?:)

Nope, I have 2 cruises booked for 2013 and unless I change

the latter one I won't be going till 2014. Are you going again next

year?

No. I think we will wait till September 2014 and then look for one of the cruises that concentrates in Italy & Croatia, I just love Italy and want to stop at Venice, Rome, Florence, Sicily...hope I can find an itinerary that will work. I would love to go sooner...but between cruise and the incredibly expensive airfare we'll have to wait to go back. Oh well it will make it that much better when we DO go....:)

I sure wouldn't want to be in Rome this week....temps were 104 on a few days...yuck...that's even miserable for us Floridians!!!
