Magicat Posted July 18, 2012 Author #27 Share Posted July 18, 2012 I don't need one, but I thought you might want to know how to get one. Just thought I would find out.

alfaeric Posted July 18, 2012 #29 Share Posted July 18, 2012 Really?? what else can they get you? Wine, table we want. Champagne, strawberries. Small stuff, but we notice the small benefits. Getting totally unexpected things is nice, no matter how small- and it gets a cruise off on the right foot. He also gives us insight like a TA can, since he also takes the cruises.
Merion_Mom Posted July 18, 2012 #30 Share Posted July 18, 2012 I have a different number for my CVP. I can't remember how we got her and she is even the replacement for our original guy. I'll ask her how someone gets a CVP....I thought everyone had one. Ok I have emailed our CVP to see how one gets a CVP. Update to follow. I call 1-800-859-7225. I have had several "CVPs" since I began cruising. The problem is that there is HUGE turnover. Just when I start LOVING someone............they leave or get another position/promotion in the company. (usually the latter, since these are GOOD people). I only got "goodies" from my original CVP, 8 years ago. Nothing since. But I like having a specific, real person to call. It feels as though when that person knows you, s/he is invested in helping you, more than someone who never talked to you before.

Im guessing they work on commission then......
Magicat Posted July 18, 2012 Author #32 Share Posted July 18, 2012 You are so correct Marion_mom, it is great talking with someone who knows you. And that is the number I call when I need a cruise or email. We're on CVP number 2 in 8 years so I guess we're doing good on the turn over front. Magicat Posted July 22, 2012 Author #34 Share Posted July 22, 2012 My CVP says you can just call and ask for one. But she also says she will help anyone out. So let me know if you want her extension number and you can call her.
