RADDERS Posted July 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2012 Hi All I know this has been asked a few times but I just want to confirm that my understanding of the dress code in Blu for men is correrct. A shirt with a collar and chinos/Jeans (no rips) are ok? on one of the searches that I did it said that shirts must have sleeves, are short sleeves ok? As this is our first time on Celebrity just double and triple checking to ensure that I pack the correct attire. Thanks again for any replies Radders :)

Rare cruisestitch Posted July 29, 2012 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2012 Short sleeves are ok -- no tank tops, beachwear, short pants, flip flops that sort of thing. Would you wear it to a nice restaurant? If yes, it's probably ok.
RADDERS Posted July 29, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted July 29, 2012 Thank you both for the very prompt replies, I can now carry on with the ironing just a few colly wobbles if you know what I mean. Only 6 sleeps to go soooo excited.

Rare cruisestitch Posted July 29, 2012 #6 Share Posted July 29, 2012 Polos have sleeves and collars so they fit the guidelines.
Rare Lois R Posted July 29, 2012 #7 Share Posted July 29, 2012 So would that be a no to polos for men? Diane Hi Diane, a polo shirt is fine:) I consider a polo shirt a shirt that has a collar and has short sleeves.
Diane Rose Posted July 29, 2012 #8 Share Posted July 29, 2012 Hi Diane, a polo shirt is fine:) I consider a polo shirt a shirt thathas a collar and has short sleeves. Thank you. What concerned me was the nice restaurant reference. I considered this to be more fine dining which would require more than a polo to be worn IMHO. Good to know. Rare cruisestitch Posted July 30, 2012 #9 Share Posted July 30, 2012 Sorry to have mislead you -- I didn't mean a coat & tie kind of reference, just someplace you would go where a pair of old jeans and a t-shirt would be underdressed.

I wore dresses or nice pants and tops for dinner. Fine dining has so many levels......Blu does have it's own galley and of course it is a smaller venue. Some items might be considered fine dining but others? Basic but well prepared. (Not en mass.....)........
