Key West

I think the Carnival Magic out of Galveston goes there about once a month. We went there on the Carnival Conquest out of Galveston before the Magic came to town. It was a great port. We went parasailing and then walked ourselves to death and still did not see everything we wanted to see. Spent too much time in Mel Fisher's Museum.

The Fascination from Carnival goes to Key West. Doesn't seem that any of the lines spend more than 6-7 hours there, they are all gone long before sundown.

We were there long enough to tour the Hemingway house, the southern most point, walk back up Duvall street and shop, saw a bit of Mallory Square, the Fischer Museum, had lunch at Hogsbreath, picked up some Key lime pie and got back on board. By the way, the best Key LIme Pie we had, was on the ship.:)

Doing it again next year.!

Majesty of the Seas visits and stays later in the day than most other ships. It is a 4 night itinerary, Mon-Fri, that includes Nassau and Coco Cay.

Otherwise, check the cruise calendar from the last post. More ships visit KW in the winter months than during the summer.
