Parking Safely in Ft. Lauderdale

We're sailing on Royal Caribbean and trying to decide if we should fly or drive. Has anybody had, or heard of, any problems with leaving your car parked at one of the hotels vs. parking at the port? Thanks in advance.

I've never had a problem leaving my car in a hotel parking area, when I've stayed one night.....they do have patrols.

 

I've never had a problem in ANY parking facility....either airport, or public! Just lock your car.

We have left our car at our pre-cruise hotel with no problems. It can be cheaper to stay and park at a hotel than at the pier. Many hotels have free shuttles to the pier.

There is a Fort Lauderdale location with a free shuttle that gets great reviews. Usually a discount coupon on the website as well.

We stayed at one in plantation...it was great...very good shuttle.....It was the Hampton inn.

Try Parknfly.com. Be sure to check "Port Everglades" not Airport. They have good rates

and good service. I use them frequently.
