CruiserBruce Posted September 18, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2012 That info should be on your booking info from Carnival, or on the schedule which would also be on the Carnival website. In any case, a better source for your research would be the Carnival board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
Rare Keith1010 Posted September 18, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2012 As CruiserBruce said it would be on your booking reservation. You could also easily find it by going to Carnivals own cruise line internet site at http://www.carnival.com Keith
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 18, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2012 Welcome to Cruise Critic. I always check the cruise line site. The times that you are in port is listed for each itinerary. That is important to us before we even select a cruise.
Bonnie J. Posted September 18, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 18, 2012 We are about to go on our 8th Fantasy cruise THIS year. WE are going again on the 27th, October 22 and just booked New Years. When are you going? Go to your Roll Call here to meet other passengers on your cruise. (We love the ship, her crew and the 4 hour drive to the port!) We were in Nassau from 7am until 6pm, Freeport from 7am until 5pm. BUT, you must be back ON the ship at least 1/2 hour before she leaves the port. If you're not, the ship will not wait for you! Also, on the 2nd night, which is 'Cruies Elegant Night', the cruise director, Risa, her assistant, Robin, Captain LaFarina and the officers will be standing outside the Cat's Lounge to meet and greet passengers and it's $1 off all drinks. This is from 5-6 and 7-8. Take your camera and Risa will take your picture with the captain. (The Cat's lounge is past the Casino on the prominade deck towards the back of the ship.) Rare geoherb Posted September 18, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 18, 2012 The scheduled times on the itinerary are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Freeport and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Nassau. You'll need to be back on board at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time the ship leaves each port. When we sailed on the Fantasy in March, however, rough weather near Freeport caused the captain to skip that port. He took us directly to Nassau and the ship stayed in port from early afternoon through the night, leaving the next day on schedule. I was happy to get the overnight in port--although we did not go ashore the first day since my 85-year-old mother-in-law was traveling with us. The good news about having her with us is that we got free parking because of her handicapped placard. The Carnival employees were also great at assisting her on and off the ship in a wheelchair at embarkation and disembarkation.
Bonnie J. Posted September 18, 2012 #8 Share Posted September 18, 2012 The port times I gave were from the August 28th & 29th sailings this summer. But, who knows a year from now?
